Was going to replace my air conditioner condenser motor, after looking at a picture, they told me it is most likely just the capacitor, a $40 part vs. a $140 fan motor, trying to save me $140. I didn’t trust that it was just a capacitor and bought the fan motor and the capacitor anyway .....I should have listened they were right. Now I have an extra fan motor if mine ever does go out. Thanks for all of your help. 5 star excellent service!!!!
By far one of the greatest hvac Suppliers around. Not sure about their work outside of their store because I've never used them for that however they would be my 1st pick if I need somebody to do the work for me. Their open on Sundays, Very Knowledgeable and helpful. I've Personally witnessed the staff go out of their way to help a customer.
Very poor customer service, the front desk clerk and the manager shows no concern of your needs at all.. The front desk parts clerk gave me the run around for two months on special material that needed for a senior customer of mine.. I decided to complain to the manager in a very kind way, the phone disconnects dead, I calls back the manager gets on phone, as I explained what happened the manager had nothing to say but, what do you want me to do about it. Wow and then hangs up the phone. All this bad business and waiting for two months pushed me to give the customer her money back. I've never had a experience like the one I've had at ARS HVAC SUPPLY. Terrible, I'll never ever use them.
My draft inducer crapped out last night. I knew it wouldn't be complicated to do myself. I looked up locations that would carry my part online when I came across is website and called. To my luck he the part and he reserved it for me. Once I got there he helped me out right away and explained to me information about the gasket that was already on the new part. I'm glad I didn't have to call around looking for something in this weather and I saved money doing it myself. Some companies won't sell it to you unless they install it.
We just had a new furnace installed by ARS. Very professional, very competitive price and very happy with the service we received. I would not look any further for HVAC service. Highly recommend.
Pros: 1) Open to public; you don't have to be a contractor 2) Willing to open the door for customers on a Saturday (a couple of days before Christmas), during which they are not supposed be open (according to the guy I talked on the phone). When I called the store, my call must've been forwarded to that guy, and he said he will be out to the store and open the door for me in 15 minutes. Even though he was 20 minutes late and I had to wait for him in the parking, I still appreciated it. 3) Just like any other brick and mortar stores, you don't have to pay for the shipping and wait for your package to be delivered.
Cons: 1) Some parts can be very expensive. I needed a replacement glow igniter. I was initially going to buy non-OEM, universal type of glow igniter, simply because that was what was installed on my furnace and I didn't know better. They were asking for $50, which you can get one for $15 on Amazon. If you are willing to wait a day or two more, then there are places you can buy it for $18. Then I learned the igniter I was looking for was not OEM, so I changed my mind and purchased an OEM part, and paid "only" $42. So, I saved $8 by buying an OEM part, cool. Well, the same part are sold online for $16. 2) Google showed that this store should be open on the day I visited, until 12 PM, which is a regular business hour, I believe. I don't know how Google knows what the business hours of the stores are, but if that's something the business owner can control, they should make a correction - if they were indeed not supposed to be open on that day.
With all the rain, both my sump pumps stopped working. A.R.S. HVAC referred to by a friend, arrived at my home next day, on time and completed the job under an hour. Their quick and reliable response, I will definitely use them again for any future issues that may arise.
Installed my new furnace and air conditioner on Saturday. Great price and very courteous .Very friendly and mindful of my carpet. Can't say enough good things about them. Great place for parts also.
We had a super old system that we thought would be super expensive & difficult to replace, but thanks to Gabe & ARS Hvac we have a whole new heating & cooling system that didn’t break our budget! The installers worked very hard to get the job done. Couldn’t be more happy with their work!!! ☺️
Heating unit went out overnight and thankfully it was in stock. Quick in and out and heater was up as quick as I could splice and change the plug over. I recommend this shop versus others. Normally we would go to a place in Napervile and I’m glad I stopped here first.
