REVISED: Gabe responded to my review immediately and was very apologetic. Scheduled one of his technicians to come out to look at the furnace. A replacement part was needed and it was taken care of by the following day. He worked to get this part to be covered under warranty which saved me some money, which is greatly appreciated especially this time of year. Thank you very much. ORIGINAL POST: Called for appointment to have furnace checked, was told they would be here between 10 and 12. Waited until 1p, no one showed or called. Called to check on status, no answer, left message and no return call. Wasted an entire day waiting and for someone that works full-time, it’s frustrating since it’s difficult to get appointments after working hours. I understand things come up, if not able to make the appointment, a call should have been made.
My furnace stopped working during the weekend and i called Dutchman because they are my next door neighbor. $135.00 fee to come out and find out whats wrong. After he started touching and looking at it two minutes later he started quoting me on what i need replaced on my 11 year old unit. Pressure switch $400, control module 600, new heat exchanger $2000 and i was not ready for that. I started searching for pressure switch price just to see how much it is as he was talking and found out ARS sells it for 60 dollars. So than he continued to tell me its better to replace it. I bought the pressure switch and still didnt work. I called ARS back and asked them to come just to make sure one more time i dont have to replace it. The guy came out dont remember his name at 7pm he made it just to take care of us to make sure we dont stay without heat. 10 minutes later furnace is on and he said this unit is in great shape without needed to replace anything he just cleaned a cloged hose. Lesson learned and im so glad i called them before i replaced the unit. Honesty goes a long way. Thank you ARS

There were lower prices online but I was happy to support a small business and pay a little more for the convenience of having the part immediately available 3 minutes from my house. I was in and out within 5 minutes. The owner was very helpful and had some great installation tips. I returned to my house, installed the part and had heat within 20 minutes.
My furnace broke and I called several people to replace a motor. Most didn't have the part or couldn't even find it. Gabe new what I needed immediately. These guys know their stuff and are very professional and friendly.
I recently experienced some mechanical problems with an old furnace at a property I own. I do a lot of HVAC repair / maintenance myself. Over the years, like many others, I've often been greatly annoyed that many outfits will not sell basic parts to everyday people over the counter. I either have to pester a licensed friend to call the part in or order from the internet (which can sometimes take a few days). In this scenario, a cold spell was imminent and I did not have the luxury of time. After continually running in problems and at the recommendations of quite a few friends, I traveled to A.R.S. and met Gabe. Gabe is a little brusque, but he was genuinely interested in helping me solve my problem. He sold me some parts that I would have otherwise had to drive a considerable distance to obtain and he provided me with solid advice / guidance. In the end, the 25-year-old furnace simply couldn't be resurrected, so a licensed friend and I replaced it. However, if I had to go with a commercial shop to the job, I would have most definitely had contracted with A.R.S. to get the job done. I am grateful for Gabe's time and patience. I highly recommend A.R.S. for all your HVAC needs.
My 1981 furnace finally died. I did a search on top reviews and went with A.R.S. that was in Oct. Next day install, great price and I had heat. I didnt give a review then because I had to make sure he matched up the pre existing AC as well...today was 88 and sticky and the AC worked as normal. Great Job !!
Great job by Gabe and the ARS crew. Our air conditioner went out at the worst possible time – it was very hot and humid outside. Everyone else was telling us that they couldn’t come out same day, but not ARS. Thanks to Gabe and his crew, although they were booked for the day, they managed to fit us into their schedule and worked very hard to make sure that we had a very cool house by the end of the day. We will definitely use them again, and will definitely refer our friends and family.
Want to recommend this company. I had to get new Ac unit and guys were super professional, polite and cleaned everything. They left my furnace unit looking much better than before! I Am so happy I found them! Don’t hesitate to use them !

Other hvac places, unless you are a licensed hvac contractor, will not even listen to your problem and most are unwilling to help, even to cross reference a part. ARS was extremely helpful and had everything I needed to get my AC up and running. They are willing to help and have a ton of parts on hand. Thank you ARS!. I will use them from now on.
