Of course, the coldest day of 2022. Below zero and my furnace stops working. The blower motor was whining and buzzing but not turning. I called RPM at 8:30 pm and Gina promptly and courteously answered the phone. I explained what was happening with my furnace, Gina asked me questions about the unit, she had me text some photos of my furnace to her. Together, well more Gina than I narrowed the problem down to a potential bad start capacitor. Little did I know that Gina was at home answering emergency after hours calls for RPM clients and new clients like myself whom were without heat in below zero temperatures. Gina got in her car at 9:00pm, drove to the office and sold me the capacitor. This Company and Gina are amazing. My heat has been restored, when the weather breaks, I am certainly going to hire RPM to replace-upgrade my furnace and air conditioner.
Expert technicians. repair the issue the first time. warranty their work. highly trained technicians who are very clean and respectful. don't be foolish & pay the big companies like ABC, Black Diamond extra for all the advertising they do. Family owned and operated for decades! very sincerley, Maurice
We contacted RPM (the owner Gina) in July to service our furnace/ac unit after a flood. A technician came out and did a wellness check on the furnace (charged us $120 for the visit) and gave us a clean bill of health. When turning on the furnace this week, it is blowing cold air. We promptly contacted Gina again, and were told they need to charge us again because the technician is no longer working for the company and both he and Gina didn't take "good notes" so there is no history on what was done with the furnace. Just ridiculous as we just paid for a "wellness check" back in July and due to their bookkeeping challenges they do not stand behind their work. DO NOT USE THEM THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF!
Have been using Ridgeway for several years now. In my most recent call they did not have a replacement filter for my furnace on the truck, so the gentleman called the office and someone else came out within 20 minutes with the correct filter to make sure it was taken care of. They have always been flexible with my schedule and quick to respond to my calls. I would advise anyonoe looking for HVAC to look at Ridgeway.
Took my call on a Sunday and came out the next day. First time with these guys. They did a great job. Were honest and didn’t charge me for a new water heater when I didn’t need it. I’ll use them again.
I have had Ridgeway Precision Mechanical as my main A/C and Heating contractors for years. They have never disappointed me. Honest, reliable, friendly and very knowledgeable. They have been there for me for both routine and for emergency. I very highly recommend them!!
Ejector pump went out and James came out first thing in the morning. I had to leave so it wasn't fixed right away. Steve came out later and fixed it 1,2,3. Was very knowledgeable, quick and clean. Will definitely use again!
Had another issue and RPM came out on time addressed the issue and handled it immediately. Actually Wes discovered sump pump wasn't working properly and took care of it right away. No mess, no fuss, everything handled in an informative and business like fashion. RPM will continue to be our go to Company.
Two no-shows in the same day. First time was from noon to 2 pm. Tried calling Gina from 2 pm to 2:45 pm with no answer. Finally got her around 2:50 and she had the service guy (James) call me. He “forgot” to come and asked if he could come around 7 pm. Didn’t show the second time at 7 and then I had to call twice and didn’t hear back until 8:19 pm. He asked if he could come at that point but I was no longer interested. I understand stuff happens...but if you’re working on another job an hour away and you’re still there at 6 pm, a simple courtesy text/call would be the appropriate thing to do. Normally, I would allow time flexibility but since they already missed the first appt you would think they would be a little more attentive to the situation. Read the reviews...I’m not the only one that had this experience.
