Merts Heating & Air Conditioning

Merts is a very good company. I have two York high efficiency furnaces and AC units that they installed and have maintained over the years. Very easy to make appointments. Very responsive to emergency concerns and recommendations for maintaining the furnaces in proper working condition.
Eric Pyle is an especially excellent technician. His knowledge of the York furnace and its maintaince and repair is phenomenal. And, he is a very nice guy. He cares for the furnance as if it is his own and goes above and beyond in explaining and answering any questions or concerns. If you have a recurrent problem or concern that you want solved - request Eric Pyle. (The others are good, but Eric is the best. I have been a customer since 2009)

Merts came out to repair my heating system in just a few hours after I called. The service professional, Frank, was friendly, professional, and helpful. He inspected, cleaned and tested the furnace and replaced the faulty igniter without trying to sell me things I didn’t need. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I are both senior citizens and on the coldest day of the year I woke up at 5 am without any heat. My husband called them and they came out after opening up at 7am and restored our heat with a minor adjustment. I am so thankful for their coming to our rescue with quick, kind, and professional service. I highly recommend them to anyone. You will not be sorry. Such a great company.

The professional service and knowledge was outstanding. Arrived on time and completed the repair of AC, without any problems. The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly.

This letter is long over due. We have used Merts for over 15 years. Where do we start?

We have really had a wonderful experiences with Merts. Of course, the most important factor is fixing the problem as soon as possible at a reasonable price. Repair work is normally urgent. i.e., no hot water, no heat, no air conditioning or frozen pipes.

They have a good office system to schedule the work and keep you advised of the estimated time a qualified repair person will arrive. We have had many of their service staff and without doubt all their service staff are true professionals.

With a boiler system we have needs beyond most homes with forced air. After your last job was completed the service person (Eric) asked me for the instruction manual to check something he was not aware of but not related to the repair. He took a picture of the text and diagrams to study later. During the repair he took time to explain what he was doing. I appreciated his concern.

All this makes writing the check easier.

I want to review Review Buzz of Oceanside California. You still are referring to me as Lake and Court and Courthouse. That is not our name. So If anyone out there is looking for a company to gather Reviews for them, DONT use Review Buzz of 117 North Cleveland St. unit 307 Oceanside California. I will never use them because they wont listen when corrected and they are obviously much more important to be corrected, by a lowly person such as I.

Ryan was very thorough and professional. He took the time to show me exactly what was going on with my system and how we would go about repairing it. He then went over the repair once it was completed. He showed me pictures of the before and after work. I called Mertz because they came highly recommended and they were able to see me the very next day. Thank you for the quality work.

Another positive impression!!! George was very professional, and personable exhibiting excellent customer service skills. While performing a recent A/C system maintenance call George brought a problem to our attention that saved us lots of money on a problem that was looming and, what would have been a very expensive repair and/or possible replacement of the A/C system. Once again, thank you (George, and the Merts team) for a job well done.
