We had a 26 year old HVAC system that went on the fritz. Mike came out on a Sunday while we were on vacation to get it up and running. I hired them to do a subsequent cleaning soon after and it was determined that the system needed to be replaced. I got numerous estimates to due my due diligence and was satisfied with the reputation, price and time spent in the explaining of a new system.

I was not at the install so aside from a couple of questions and an issue that needed to be addressed (the thermostat wasn't installed properly and it was a Nest and they weren't trained in that one). To make a long story shorter, the main contact Pat understood I was frustrated and got back to me in the middle of the night (responding to my text) and promised to make it right.

Mike and George both came out first thing in the AM to make sure things were explained and that the thermostat was attached and working properly. I was impressed with the follow-up on all services. We should be cooling and heating well for years to come.

They worked with me on a price that seemed right compared to the other companies we checked with, the American Standard equipment is really well made and warrantied, and it matches the home well.

I wouldn't hesitate to call them because they will stand by their product and service.

We love Phillips Heating. They always treat you like a friend, but are very professional and prompt. They kept our old units running for as long as they could and once came up to 8 times to fix a problem with our old furnace (without charging us every time either), until we were able to afford to buy new ones. They are a great family business and would recommend them highly.

Several weeks ago, my air conditioner stopped working. I, unfortunately, called a company who's name was posted on my furnace, which resulted in an estimate for a new A/C and furnace. I talked to my son and he recommended I get in touch with Ritchie Achey at Phillips. I was so glad I did. Ritchie promptly came out to my home in Huntley, checked out my air conditioner, replaced one part and now my air conditioner is working like new again. I would certainly recommend Phillips Heating & Cooling to anyone I know who needs heating or cooling services.

I have used other companies in the past and recently had Steve Phillips repair our heating and ventilation system. Of course our A/C went out on the hottest and stickiest day of this summer. Steve recommended repairing most parts and replacing some others and had us up and running in a few hours. Generally HVAC people always tell you everything has to be replaced but Steve was honest and knew I was on a budget and was willing to take the extra time it needed to be fixed. Honest work at its best..!

My furnace was running a bit loud and Phillip's HVAC came out to find the issue and quickly did some re-venting. All is running smoothly now. The team here is always friendly, timely, and ensures you are completely satisfied. Highly recommend Phillips for your HVAC needs.

The office staff was very nice and understanding. Our a/c unit quit blowing cold air and when I called and explained my husband works 3rd shift in a hot factory and needs the ac to sleep comfortably during the days they sent someone out right away. He was very professional and was able to get our unit working in no time. Highly recommend

Outstanding customer service! Response time to initial call was quick - technician was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. Reasonable service rates which were actually less expensive than our previous heating & cooling company. I also love the fact they are a family owned, Christian company. Highly recommend this top notch company!

Been with this company 30 + yrs + multiple referrals.
Tech showed up, Sat,12/26/20 diagnosed the problem, circuit board fried, part not in stock, (NO HEAT !) $127.50.
Assured me I would be contacted on Monday 12/28/20 with a cost & a time frame. (subject to my approval)

I was contacted by the office & was told the part was a wk out, but they were willing to go pick it up that day @ a cost of approx $648.50 installed.
I ordered the part elsewhere online for $173.00 & received it 24hrs ahead if Phillips time frame & fixed it myself with a $500 + savings.
Not everyone has the advantage of being able to fix their own, but thankfully I do or I'd still be waiting or having to call someone else & pay yet another diagnostic fee.

I would give 10 stars if I could. My wife and I were blown away by how seemless the entire process was.

Phillips set clear expectations and delivered accordingly at every turn; from the initial assessment / diagnosis, scheduling, financing and all the way through the replacement of our entire HVAC system.

Every interaction we had with Phillips was pleasant and each team member was extremely professional despite the VERY hot and humid conditions.

The new furnace and AC units not only work great but they look 5x better than what we inherited when we moved into our home.

They removed a 60+ year old gas furnace. Then they installed a new high eff. furnace and air conditioner. They also replaced the T-stat. Everything works perfectly. They were neat and cleaned up around their work area. i would recommend them to friends and family.
