Shavitz Heating and Air Conditioning

We had Shavitz install a new AC unit this past summer and they did an excellent job! They were professional and very thorough. We had them back just recently to provide maintenance service on our 2 heating systems. Elia the tech was very kind, professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything that he found in detail and with pictures which I really appreciated. He connected us back with Krzysztof the project manager, who we worked with for the AC install so that we could have some continuity of service. Our service with Shavitz has been personal, professional, and honest - we highly recommend this company!

The service man has no idea what he is doing. Lied about repair. I lost a contract to purchase the home. The mistake would have cost me $30 000

Mirek did a pretty complex new boiler install for us and was extremely thorough and helpful through the whole process. He and the other workers were timely, clean and polite and the quality of the work seemed great. He took the time at the end to explain the whole system to me and show me where everything was. First time using Shavitz. So far, so good. The technician who came was professional and responsive to concerns/questions. He discovered a crack in the heat exchanger which needs repair and we are without heat for awhile downstairs in our home, but hopefully with Shavitz on the job, they will get it repaired.

New Thermostat System Installation. I live in an older hi rise condominium in Chicago that has a 2 pipe heat/cool system with individual fan controls with no temperature setting. This was not a traditional thermostat replacement or installation. It was tough to determine what could work for my unit and the initial installation had issues so changes were needed to be make it work correctly. In the end they figured it out. I was very impressed with their dedication to find a solution (which took 3 visits) and with professionalism throughout. I highly recommend Shavitz, especially if you have a non-traditional system.

Mitchel wore an N95 mask as we requested. He did work with skill and had all the supplies and replacements as needed. I recommend this company.
