Gilley's called and told me they'd like to install my new A/C two days earlier than planned. Upon arriving, the crew apologized for showing up, early. They dug up the yard, to level the spot the unit would sit. Those who installed the old unit made no attempt to do that. They left the place spotless when finished. This is the way that companies used to do buisness. Would recommend them to everyone everywhere.

This is an excellent HVAC company! Based on my personal experience with them, they are honest and explain any issues I am having. We have used them as our provider for 20+ years. They install great equipment. Average life of an HVAC system is 18 years...my unit is going on 20 years and still has about 5 years before replacement and upgrade. Very honest and upfront about pricing...they are a great value for the cost and competitive with other HVAC companies in the Rockford Area. Definitely recommend them!
Great Service! Furnace broke down and they were here within an hour to look at it and fixed it same day. They only charged me their diagnostic rate and nothing extra to fix it. Shawn was super friendly and very informative on what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. Will definitely use them again.
Over the new year, our furnace decided it was time to quit (or at least to start to quit). We called a competitor, who charged us a pretty penny for the holiday emergency and tried to sell us on a new furnace and air conditioner. So, I called Gilley's for a second opinion. Rodney came out and was wonderful! He was kind and empathetic. He explained our options, acknowledging that at some point we may need an A/C but never trying to push it on us as we were only concerned with having heat during the sub-zero temperatures we were experiencing. His quote was just that. There were no surprise expenses, and the technicians who came out were respectful and worked diligently to install the new furnace. I never felt pressured by anyone I dealt with at Gilley's.
Very courteous and efficient. The two technicians worked on one of the hottest days this summer. They were careful to keep things maintained and clean up. Good job, pleasant technicians. Would recommend highly.
Rodney from Gilley's is awesome. I called to get my furnace replaced and they couldn't come out today so he walked me through cleaning the sensor. I was able to do it by myself. No other place that I called was anywhere near as helpful. Thank you very much and you will be a recommendation from me.
They put in a new outdoor unit for us last summer (2015). At the time, the service was great, but the central air has never worked right since. They did a "maintenance" call this summer because the unit they installed was far from cooling our home.
This call consisted of hosing off our outdoor unit, topping off the coolant and changing the air filter. Never once did the tech clean the indoor unit. The tech claimed it was because the new unit was more efficient. Doubtful given our electric bill DOUBLED when the new unit went in. Possibly because it literally never stops running.
To this day, in mid-October (2016) it is still NOT COOLING OUR HOUSE. It is 83 degrees outside, the thermostat is set at 70 and it is 80 degrees in the house. We should not be sweating with the central air on, no matter what month it is.
