Fast, professional service by a great technician that explained everything to me was appreciated. Luis thoroughly checked our system out and found the problem, ordered parts and within a few days had it working perfectly. I paid for a service contract to be sure we had service performed at the correct time of year in the future.

Excellent customer service. Called Monday late afternoon to schedule an appointment for routine maintenance, they were out Tuesday morning. Furnace needed a heat exchanger replaced, they left 4 space heaters and came back the following day to install the part. Had a separate issue with my thermostat tripping the furnace, and they came out on call right away to fix the issue. Very thorough, knowledgeable, and great customer service.

Technician performed annual A/C check. Cleaned things thoroughly. Found need for one part and gave me option of installing it now or in the future - no pressure. Described pros and cons of each. Technician was pleasant, masked, used shoe covers. Did a great job. Would recommend D&W to others.

Called Dowe and Wagner after a google search to come out and fix my furnace. I had already tested my blower motor and knew that i needed a new one. nonetheless, they said they needed to send out a technician to come and look. I asked on the phone if they had blowers to replace it. they said "yes, we have blowers motors available." not even asking for the model/make of my furnace. seemingly rude, the person on the phone asked if I wanted have someone come out or not. I obliged thinking that hiring a company to fix would probably be better than ordering the part, and hacking it together myself.

It was a Saturday so emergency rates would apply, I was told there was a service fee of $205. I said ok.

technician arrived and I asked him if he had the blower. he asked to take a look at the furnace. he proceeded to spend 45 mins at my furnace and then tell me the blower is bad. which I already knew. I asked him if he had one. he said "probably not for this furnace, but I can check". all his answers were extremely vague. and what our conversation boiled down to was that he suggested I buy a new furnace.

I was told to call the emergency number back and talk to the person who was on call.

I did, and was told that a sales person would contact me on Monday.

so here I am. a father of 2 small children, no heat, no running furnace for 2 full days, in norther IL in the middle of winter. and the technician charges me over $400 for coming to tell me I need a new furnace.

Monday comes and goes and no sales person calls. I called several other companies to get quotes in the meantime. on that Wednesday, I called their office and wondered where my quote was. told them I was not happy about the charge/service. i was told that someone would call me back, no one ever called.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY DO NOT GIVE TWO HOOTS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!

BAD!!! BAD!! BAD!!

I called out and hired Gene, from FOXX heating and cooling and he was responsive, and had a new furnace installed in a couple of days. i highly recommend them.

Don't do business with DOWE and WAGNER as they are a terrible company.

Service tech came out first, professional and friendly, needed new A/C. Next day had Mark out to estimate new one, had quotes quickly. He found the unit we wanted AND installed it that day!!! Excellent experience. Pam in the office was great also.
