Dutchman was very pleasant to work with on a tricky heating replacement project. They were honest and very thorough in explaining everything during the examination of the project and the bid process. The installation crew was on time, courteous, efficient, clean, and did a really nice job. Overall high scores for the whole process.

I called because our furnace would not stay on. They gave me a time in the afternoon (4:00 or 4:30) and told me that it would be $135 per hour because of overtime. Seriously? 4:30 in the afternoon is overtime. I told them it wasn't an emergency so they scheduled me for the following day at noon for $95 an hour. Okay--that's fair. Then they asked me if I owned or rented the house. I just moved here and am renting for the first year. They then informed me that they needed the landlord's permission for them to enter the house. {{{sigh}}} give me a break. But okay, I jumped through that hoop and had the owner call them and approve. Next they, informed me that it would be $140 an hour. Why? Because they consider it a commercial property. I canceled.

If this is their practice before they even come out, I can only imagine what they do once they have you captive and you're committed to them. I refuse to pay $45 an hour more just because I'm renting the house. This is unfair and it's an unfair business practice. There are too many heating and cooling companies to choose from that you don't have to jump through hoops and pay through the nose for these folks to provide you service.

I do not recommend doing business with Dutchman Heating and Cooling. Yes, they have good reviews, but let's be honest, anyone with heating and cooling experience can do the work you need done and many are doing it for far less than these crooks.

We’ve used Dutchman for about one year now and are part of their maintenance plan. We’ve always had prompt service that we’ve trusted. We recently replaced our entire HVAC thru Dutchman. It was a big job that took all day. They were friendly and efficient. They cleaned up and left the place as it was found. We did end up having an issue and went w/out heat for a night, I called first thing in the morning and they immediately dispatched someone out and he resolved the issue quickly. Good trustworthy business that is responsive and seems to truly care about its customers. I highly recommend!

Jose was awesome! He quickly diagnosed the issue with my ac unit and explained what needed to be done to resolve the issue. He answered all the questions I had and was very informative. My house is finally cool and I have him to thank for that. Great job!

I am a loyal customer of Dutchman Heating and Cooling for years. In 2012 I had Dutchman replace my AC and furnace units. They provided very professional assistance in selecting the correct systems; their staff installed the systems and have serviced them (seasonal maintenance/cleanings). The staff - both on the phone and the service personnel are excellent - they are courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. They are the best - I highly recommend them for anyone having issues or considering replacing AC or furnaces.

A friend had recommended Dutchman, so I called them up to get an estimate on replacing my furnace and ac. They installed a new furnace at the beginning of winter 2018, when the very old furnace had died. In addition, I decided to replace the older air conditioner unit too. The gentlemen that came out were very professional, polite, and prompt. They did an excellent job. Due to the weather being cold outside, they installed the air conditioning unit but said that it should not be started until the weather gets warmer. Clint, who was one of the people who did the installation, came back and checked the fluids, the airflow, etc, and ensured that everything was working properly. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the other installers’ names because they were great too. Jamie (sp?) was the person that I had talked to at the end of last year, and she was always patient, polite, and professional too. I have had the pleasure of interacting with others too and all of the experiences have been great. I recommend their business to friends and family.

I called Dutchman for an emergency after hours of tinkering with my AC/furnace to get my AC working again. Spoke with Jamie on the phone who was absolutely lovely.
Then Jose came out after 9:00PM with a smile on his face & friendly as ever. He got my AC back up & running in no time but was also very honest about what was happening with my AC/Furnace. Absolutely wonderful experience tonight! Jamie & Jose were both upfront with cost so there were no surprises. This group is the way to go for all your HVAC needs.

Received pricing for American Standard from Dutchman and for Trane and Lennox from 2 other reputable providers. Dutchman had the best price which is what I hoped for since American Standard is so highly rated. The installation crew did a good job, one small glich with the wiring was solved by a follow-up visit. Not the installers fault as a previous worker from another company did not properly splice the wires. Will use Dutchman going forward for maintenance and will recommend to others.

Highly recommend the Dutchman heating and cooling. They were extremely professional, came on time, explained everything extensively before they fixed our air conditioner unit. We have had many scams over the years, but felt very comfortable and confident with the Dutchman. Will definitely use them in the future!

We’ve used Dutchman for several years now, including a recent AC install. The crew has always been cordial and courteous, then upfront and honest in their work. Especially with the current pandemic, we have young kids in the home and they went above and beyond to keep our home safe while getting the job done. I recommend for all in their area in need of heating and cooling service.
