CK Mechanical HVAC

Short review: Don’t use this company. There are better options in the area. The proprietor refused to even look at the broken AC unit HE installed.

Long review: We just had the worst experience with the person who owns this company. I told him I would write a google review and he said he didn’t care, so now I am.

Background: We are a small company in Elk Grove with a unit in a commercial building.

The air conditioner, that he installed within the past couple of years, has broken. We had a different company look at it yesterday. (they were great) The gentleman from that company called the manufacturer and found out our unit was still under warranty. To be able to make a claim, we need the company who originally bought the unit to do the repair. We assumed it was the company that installed it, CK Mechanical. We’re having doubts about that now.

Fast forward to this morning. He comes in and starts talking circles to our bookkeeper. She tried telling him what the guy yesterday said. He refuses to look at the air conditioner. I finally come to see what is going on and the guy looks like he’s ready for a fight. He makes fun of us about the warranty. He makes fun of us for talking about a leak, because that’s what we had been told was the problem. He talks bad about the guy from the other company who went above and beyond for us yesterday. I tell him I’m going to complain to his boss. He tells me, I am the boss. He’s clearly not going to help us with our problem and had already almost walked out so I tell him to get out and that we will never do business with his company again. Mind you, we are willing to pay but if it’s still under warranty, it makes sense to pursue that option. We are also going to call the manufacturer and tell them that the company we got the unit from is refusing to do business with us.

Great service and quality work. We had issues with heating system in our home. CK Mechanical thoroughly explained all the options we had and explained completely what they would achieve and what they would cost. The price was good for comparable quotes from other companies. My wife and I decided to go with them and couldn't be happier. Our home is very comfortable now. Couldn't say enough about the quality of service and work. If your trying to decide, pull the trigger and go with CK Mechanical.

CK mechanical handles the maintenance and repairs for all our commercial and residential buildings and things have never run smoother. Prices are more than fair. I would definitely recommend if you want the job done right at a good price.

Chester assisted in diagnosing and fixing a furnace and air conditioning problem at my home. He explained each step of the way what he found and gave me options. He did not pressure me or rush me to decide. He even came on Saturday and did not charge an arm and a leg. Very fair, polite and thorough. Highly recommend CK Mechanical.
