Jim is a cool dude! Came to my winery and got the HVAC operational very quickly. Very transparent in what he did and how he did it. Called York to determine if replacement part was under warranty as well trouble shot the problem with the York techs.
I had a bad experience. I had them come out for a unit that wasn't working. The person said he was the owner and started telling me that they were installed wrong and all 4 of them were probably fried and on and on. During this time he opened a valve and it shot oil all over a business outfit I had on for an important meeting. He never even paused to say anything when I expressed that oil just shot all over me. Then he proceeded to tell me that he would be sending a quote and he would try to help with getting something on the warranty.
Then he charged me $235 and never got back to me. So for $235 I have nothing . Not even a piece of paper telling me his diagnostic findings. When I called the office they said that was their diagnostic price. BUT I told her that I never got a diagnosis or a quote or anything. After paying $235 I was right where I started. The girl on the phone told me she would email me the diagnosis last week but I never got an email or for that matter an explanation of why they would do that.
Called for an inefficient AC unit and was able to be seen SAME DAY in July. (Very pleasantly surprised as I was also a cold call.) Jim was there on time; was kind and helpful in explaining what he was doing as it was necessary; gave me some tips for going forward; and made repairs same day. Will be using for HVAC needs going forward in my new home.
