Needed a quote on replacement air condition and furnace. David was very knowledgeable pointed out things that I didn’t realize we’re problematic with my old ductwork that we need to be upgraded. Very knowledgeable about product. very professional would highly recommend.

Very professional. My furnace went out two days before Christmas. Had to have a new one installed. House still wasn't heating and they came back to check and see what was going on. Also had to call a few weeks ago central air wasn't working. Wire wasn't connected. No charge.

We are very happy with the service they performed they were a little late, and did not cover there shoes when walking through our house but they stayed until job was finish. We would recommend them to family and friends.

2021-01 - Furnace went out on one of the coldest days of the year on a Saturday. I called another company we had used before but they were closed. I searched for others and found Perfect Temp and saw that they were available. I called and got an answering service but then got a call back from Dave the owner within minutes. I described the problem and he was at our house in hardly any time at all. He eventually had to go get a part, but we were back up and running in under 3 hours from start to finish.
Communication and professionalism were great. He even had covers for his boots to not track snow in to the house! Overall great experience.

2023-07 - AC unit capacitor went out. Had Cody out the next morning and everything was back up and running by 9:30am.

Technical service - did not meet expectations due to lack of knowledge of Nest thermostat.

I had a mixed experience. My interaction with the technician was completely positive. After I broke my old thermostat, he rewired and set up a google nest thermostat that I purchased. The technician stated that nest thermostats require 5 wires and I only had 4. He suggested that I either forego the fan connection (G) and use that wire as the common wire OR I could buy a 4 to 5 wire converter from them for $350. I decided to forego the fan wire as the fan would still work when heating or cooling (I just would not be able to run the fan unless the system was actively heating or cooling). After a few days, my wife and I missed the fan. From watching a collective hour of youtube videos, I discovered that the nest learning thermostat (3rd gen) typically doesn’t need a common wire. If it does, google makes a $30 power adapter that can also be used instead. I also found a 4 to 5 wire adapter on Amazon for $35, so my understanding is that $350 perfect temp price reflected installation cost and, of course, their expertise (as apparently applying the 4 to 5 wire converter is complex).

I changed my 4th wire back to the fan node (G) from the common wire node and the nest set itself up perfectly, no power adapter or 4 to 5 wire converter needed. I also confirmed this was the same wiring set up one of my friends with a nest thermostat had. My fan, heating, and cooling all work great now.

The nest is a popular thermostat so I expect professionals to be able to set them up optimally. I do believe older generations of the nest thermostat required a common wire, but this (3rd) generation has been out for several years. For these reasons, I do not feel like I can give PT a 4+ star review. To be fair, scheduling and my interactions with the people were awesome. Other HVAC professionals have not even called me back.

Note, I updated my review description and changed my score from 2 stars to 3 stars after the owner kindly called me to discuss the situation. Overall, I do think Perfect Temp's pricing was fair now that I understand the price for the 4 to 5 wire split included installation costs. I still think a professional HVAC company should be able to optimally install a Google Nest Thermostat that has been out for several years. I also tend to think that all HVAC professional would prefer to offer a thermostat that both serves their clients well and offers a bit of a commission, which might be difficult to do on thermostats marketed directly to consumers.

Appreciated working with this company from the office staff to the guys in the field would highly recommend Perfect Temp for hvac work! Paul was perfect his work was top notch he addressed all my questions and was a pleasure doing business with!

I personally liked the fact they answered the phone on a Friday evening and had a tech out first thing on Saturday. Responsive, punctual, and knowledgable.
