Unique is outstanding. They came out for a free second opinion and found wires disconnected. Our previous HVAC company said we needed a new air conditioner and they could install a new one the same day. We are so thankful for an honest company.

I would definitely highly recommend this company for all of their services. Had my dryer vent cleaned out and the Technician Robbie went well beyond All of my expectations!! He climbed through ceilings trying to rectify the problem. Which he actually did!! They were the second company I called out to service my dryer and I wish I had made them my first phone call!! Technician was able to come on A Saturday. I appreciated the text that was sent telling me when the technician was arriving. Even included a picture with his name and info. Technician was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have used Unique Indoor in the past and will continue to do so!

2019-Another Fall furnace cleaning and another great job by Longhan. Again, if you’re looking for an honest HVAC company, give Unique a call.

2018-Had my Fall furnace cleaning today. The technician, Longhan, did a great job. He answered any and all questions I had. He was courteous, professional, patient and thorough.
Unique has great communication and customer service. Their text message system keeps you updated with regards to your appointment (even including a photo of your technician)!
I would highly recommend Unique to anyone.

STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOURSELF - CALL ANOTHER COMPANY! THE OWNER DOES NOT WARRANTY THEIR OWN SERVICE/DIAGNOSTIC WORK AND CHARGES $184 FOR EACH FOLLOW-UP CALL!

As a homeowner for 25+ years, this is by far the worst company I've ever worked with. Here are the specifics so you can judge for yourself:
1. My furnace was occasionally only blowing cold air even though the temperature in my house did not satisfy the thermostat. If I toggled the power on the unit, it would start heating again.
2. I called Unique and they came out and charged me $310 for a new igniter (price included service/diagnostic charge).
3. 3 weeks later the issue started again so I called Unique to come back out. At this point the furnace was not putting out enough heat even with a restart.
4. A different tech properly diagnosed the problem (at least I think so) as a bad circuit board and needed to be replaced for $735 PLUS an additional $184 service call. NOTE - IF I DIDN'T GO AHEAD WITH THE REPAIR, I WAS TOLD I'D OWE $184 REGARDLESS!!!!
5. When I asked for a $184 credit for the first call (I was even willing to pay for the cost of igniter I didn't need) - the owner, Kelly, offered me a $35 coupon for a service call discount. $35... laughable. When I asked if she thought it was fair I already paid over $300, she didn't respond and told me it's company policy to charge for each diagnostic even if the problem isn't solved. Furthermore, she told me identification of a circuit board as a root cause is 'difficult to do and sometime requires 3 or more visits to diagnose'! (isn't that her company's job!)

Regardless, I had no heat, have kids, and my house was in the 50s so I had no choice but to approve the repair and pay.

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF STRESS AND FRUSTRATION AND USE SOMEONE ELSE. THERE ARE MANY GREAT COMPANIES VALUING CUSTOMER SERVICE IN LAKE COUNTY - CHOOSE ONE OF THEM.

My Unique experience has not been a favorable one. They have been late to every service call requested and did not offer an explanation or apology. Each service attendant that I have dealt with has not been a good communicator and did not seem to appreciate our business. Finally, I question the skill of their service technicians when they come to do routine maintenance on a functioning A/C unit and end up leaving with the unit non-functional. The only explanation that was offered in this instance is that sometimes units just "die". Funny thing here is that the unit was just fine until Unique got involved. I would highly not recommend doing business with this company.

We had a great experience with Unique Indoor Comfort when they installed a new
air conditioner in our 1927 Tudor. A new air handler needed to be installed in the
attic, along with several new outlets for air flow efficiency.

The workmen completed the work in a timely manner and treated our home with
the utmost respect during the process.

Our new air conditioner kept our home very comfortable over the summer months.
We now have Unique also servicing the boiler to our hot water heating system.

Unique installed a new whole house humidifier. They were very knowledgeable and worked in a timely fashion. My house is much more comfortable now.
