Let me begin by saying the only reason they got 2 stars is because the guy fixed the problem! But!!!!
He told me there is a sensor that needs to be changed soon, maybe a month, maybe a year! We live in our house for 1 year so far and the heater is brand new! I told him not to change it than.
When he was done he gave me a summery of what was done he stated he changed the sensor! And charged me extra $150! Also, It took him 2 hours to realize that heater is ok and thermostat is acting up! So the total was $500 to change the thermostat and a sensor that I didn’t ask to change! When I called the company they said he either has to come back later that day (which I can not do) or I have to pay for it! Lovely ha? This company is a SCAM!

Outstanding experience with Unique Indoor Comfort Heating & Cooling!

I placed a call for service on an older Trane Heat Pump for maintenance and cleaning. Scott came out that very same afternoon and did a great job! Scott is super friendly and professional. He took the time with me to explain what was going on and how best to clean the evaporator coils on the unit to restore efficiency and tip-top performance! When he was finished he went over what service was performed and even re-opened the heat pump cabinet to show me the cleaned coils and electrical components he checked.

The heat pump is working perfectly, and I could not have asked for better service. Would definitely use Unique Indoor Comfort Heating & Cooling again in the future! Thanks again, Scott!

Unique Indoor Comforting was very short and rude on the phone. They told me to go buy some part myself and their tech would install it. I bought the part but as it turns out, the Unique Indoor Comforting tech had completely misdiagnosed the problem with my hot water heater because the part didn't fix anything. I called a new service provider and they spotted the problem in under two minutes and fixed it immediately. I wasted a lot of time and money.

Great service! I made an appointment online because the blower on my furnace was not coming on with the air conditioning. Robert came during the allotted time, figured out it was the capacitor, fixed it, and I am once again enjoying my air conditioning. Since this was the hottest day so far this summer, I am especially thankful for their quick service. I highly recommend Unique Indoor Comfort - Libertyville!

I originally called them when my AC wasn't working. I had called 3 companies and they were willing to come out immediately to check the problem. We knew we needed a new furnace and were going to do it in October, but when we learned the AC wasn't working, we got a new furnace immediately. We got 3 estimates. Unique wan't the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. I liked that the owner of the company came to give me the estimate. I liked that they were local and could service the furnace after. They also include 2 years of service. When they installed the furnace, the guys were amazing. Professional, neat, great with my dogs. Even after, they forgot to put part of the charge on my credit card until I reminded them! I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

They were very responsive, fast, and took the time to explain what the issue was with our air conditioner. The service call was on a Sunday,, and the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Unique Indoor Comfort for your a/c and heating needs!

Not a great experience. I called them because we had a code on our thermostat. The guy came out (late) and spent two hours looking up the code, what it meant, figuring out we had a hear pump, calling a guy who works on heat pumps and asking him about how they work etc. I appreciate how thorough he was but at the end of this he did nothing for me and billed me $275 saying it was better to wait til spring to charge and look for leaks.... Prepping me for a large bill.

I wish two things would have happened differently. 1 they do a better job understanding the job they are getting into ahead of time. Questions could have been asked over the phone. 2 Offer to out my $275 toward my actual repair in the spring.

None of this was done. I have zero incentive to use them in the spring when I get my leak repaired.
