ComforTemp Heating & Air Conditioning

Thank you to ComforTemp for coming to the rescue and saving the day! The furnace went out on a frigid Friday night at our home this January. The type of frigid cold temps that couldn’t wait until Monday to be fixed. So I picked up the phone and called ConforTemp! The owner made a ton of calls and was able to secure a new furnace for the house! He and his team were out less than 12 hours later replacing the furnace!! The home is nice and warm and there was no damage to the pipes due the frigid temps! Thank you to their team for making things happen in a desperate time! Unbelievably professional company!! They will be the only company servicing my home!! Thank you again!!

Eric was scheduled to come and service our air conditioner between 8-11. He texted at 10:10 that he was on his way. When he arrived, he was wearing a mask and was very friendly. He asked if he could see the unit outside first. Eric immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed the unit within 20 min for a very reasonable fee. I would definitely use this company again for my air/ heating problems!

After my basement flooded I found myself in need of a new furnace which was old and outdated anyway. I called ComforTemp and they came out to give me an estimate for a new furnace and a new a/c unit. The staff was extremely friendly and trustworthy. They had my new units installed 2 days after my estimate. The units were installed in a timely manner and the man that came out to do the installation was friendly and knowledgeable. I will be using ComforTemp again, whenever my furnace and a/c units need to be serviced.

Brad Kraemer has been here twice. Very personable guy. I felt from the time he got here, he was a long time friend. Fixed the problem " pronto"! After trying another company for years, I would not trust anyone else with my HVAC needs! A++++++ service man!

My HVAC unit stopped blowing heat through the house. I had called a few companies, but only ComforTemp was able to see me first thing in the morning. Tim came out, on time, and did great a job. I'm a first time home owner and although it seemed to be a simple fix, he took the time to explain what he was doing and tips I can use in the future to keep it running!

Had an old furnace Byrant furnace with the rollout switch kept tripping and bad exhaust smell. Pulled the blower and sure enough the secondary element starting to rust through. Called the company that installed it 18 years ago and got a quote over the phone. Seemed very high so I decided to get other quotes. 2nd quote the person came to my house, checked everything out and wrote up a quote which was much better and seemed like a good company. 3rd company was ComforTemp who I wished I called in the first place.

Was blown away by the whole experience. Took a few pics of my furnance and AC and they sent over the quote. Wasn't just something written up on paper, but it was a link to model numbers, pictures, details and get this... Options! Good, better, best and I like that approach.

I had a few conversations about what I wanted and my priorities. I like a high efficiency furnace, but the AC doesn't matter that much as I don't use it a lot, but I did want it as quite as possible because of location to a door. Bingo, more options. No pressure. I even added an electronic air cleaner that I was debating whether I should or not. Reduced sneezing in my house down to almost nothing. Also added the Ecobee5 thermostat. Already had a wi-fi enabled one, but glad I upgraded as this one is so much better.

The company will help you with the ComEd, Nicor and any manufacturer rebates and will indicate which ones you apply for and which they will. This hands down was the best service I've had in 30 years of owning a home and no wonder why they have so many 5 star reviews. Not on Angies List yet which is why I almost missed out.

The technician communicated promptly and clearly. His timing was as-promised. He presented my options in a way I could weigh them. Repairs were performed with the utmost professionalism. Will definitely call them in the future if the need arises.

Just had our 2nd floor air conditioning unit replaced by Brad. He was very professional and timely. He came highly recommended and we weren’t disappointed! If ever our unit breaks down [hoping that it won’t be for years since it’s new ;)], I’ll know who to call... ComforTemp... BRAD! Thank you!

We own an office condominium that is for sale. Upon inspection of the roof HVAC unit, it was discovered that the heat exchanger had a large crack in it, requiring that the unit be shut down. This could have been a problem given the fact that it occurred in the winter. The team at ComforTemp were able to replace the unit very quickly and now things are working perfectly. Many thanks to Eric, Katrina, Brad, and Nick for their great work.

We had just moved into our new home only to find out the air conditioning did not work. ComforTemp sent out their technician, Marko K. He was prompt, explained everything thoroughly, and 3 hours later he had the old air conditioning unit up and running again. ComforTemp will be our first call when something else is needed.
