We used Carefree Comfort for an emergency water heater replacement recently and they were excellent! They were really accommodating to our schedule and turned a bad situation into a good experience with their quick response, professional attitude, and honest pricing.

Carefree Comfort was recommended by another contractor and we are so happy he did. We needed to move some ductwork to address plumbing repairs. It was complicated in that they had too send two crews one before one after the plumbing repairs were completed. Both of the Carefree Comfort teams were friendly prompt, efficient and did high quality work. They arrived when they said they would had fabricated ductwork ready on time.
They also left the area cleaner than they found it. Price was excellent and quality of the service and workmanship was outstanding. Because of their commitment to service and quality they have just been moved up to the number one HVAC and plumbing provider for our home. Just wish now we had contracted with them for the plumbing work as well. Outstanding company!

Carefree Comfort ,as always, upon hearing of my emergency plumbing issue, arranged for a plumber to arrive within a couple of hours. The dispatcher advised me within minutes of my phone call of the 2 hour window appointment and kept in touch advising of specific arrival. Tommy, plumber, clearly explained the cause and how to avoid future problems. The charge was VERY reasonable compared to past services I have had from other local plumbing companies.

After using their Heating, Air Conditioning technicians for 10 years, I was happy to learn they now take care of plumbing needs.

I thought services were very professional and quick. The technician that came out was very knowledgeable and courteous. The reason that we give 4 stars is that we had put in a service request ticket on their website on Saturday detailing the problem that our a/c unit was not cooling the house down as effectively as it used to. On Monday my husband called first thing in the morning to just see where the status of our ticket was at. The gentleman that answered the phone was polite, and was able to pull up the information/our ticket quickly. He told us that he was aware of it and would come out on late Tuesday or on Wednesday. It just so happens that I am heavily pregnant, it is the hottest days of the week during the time the a/c decides to break, and we have 2 bulldogs that are panting like crazy no matter how many fans we put directly on them during this time. When we didn't hear anything Tuesday, I had my husband call in on Wednesday around 9 am, and the lady that answered did not have the ticket showing (I guess it disappeared), and my husband had to go through the whole discussion again of what was happening. Where this gets better though, is that around 2:30 later that day, we got a call saying that the technician's schedule just cleared up and if he could come by right then, they could. We agreed and they came by and he was in and out fast, and our a/c was fixed! So bottom line, services were great, but the administrative/communication side (we had to contact them 3 times) was a little frustrating and required a lot of follow-up on our end. We had actually given up at first and called someone else to come out, but we got the call that the technician suddenly had a free spot, so we went for it!

Carefree Comfort is great! I use them only for my annual maintenance since both my AC and furnace are fairly new. You get a nice discount for pre-paying for the annual plan. The techs are always respectful and polite. We will continue to use them!

We've been using Carefree Comfort for years - exceptionally professional - always! We have used them for furnace repair, installation and general service for over 15 years.

After our last service call, a drain got clogged which caused water to overflow a drain and cause some damage to a wall. Carefree came out immediately, blew out the drains to ensure proper flow. They inspected the minor damage and without hesitation brought in a painter to fix the damage. Stuff sometime happens - it's how you deal with it that counts. Carefree passes with flying colors!

I have used Carefree Comfort for years. I have never been disappointed. In emergency, when it is cold and heat not working, they always find time to come, and have always repaired my boiler system the first time. I have never had an inept or poorly trained person....they always get the job done correctly.

We have used Carefree Comfort ever since we moved into our house in Nortrhbrook, about 19 years ago. Their service has always been excellent, they have helped us through all emergencies (like no heat in sub-zero weather!) quickly, and been an absolute pleasure to work with.

Called in the AM and got an appointment for that PM. My call was answered courteously and efficiently. The gentlemen arrived on time, were very in answering my questions and fixing the problem. I have relied on Carefree and have always been very satisfied and pleased.
