Captain HVAC Chicago - The Best Local Heating and Cooling Service in Chicago

I called Captain HVAC on Monday at 4:00pm because my air conditioner wasn’t working. I was very impressed because they told me a technician would be at my house at 8:30pm. However, nobody ever showed up. I called several times that night and the next morning, and nobody answered the phone. Even after leaving messages, I never got a call back. On Thursday, I called again to see if they were coming at all. I was told someone would come out Thursday at 5:30pm. I was told I’d get a call around 5 to confirm. At the end of the call, I asked for the name of the person I was speaking with. They hung up on me without answering. Nobody showed up at 5:30, and I never got a call. They were extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend even calling since they won’t show up.

Reply to their response: As I mentioned in my review, I was hung up on when I asked for the name of who I was speaking with. Both times, it was someone on their cell phone who answered. But I was never able to get their name.

Mr Mohammed and his team were amazing. Believe the 5 star reviews. Kindness and professionalism goes a long way but with easy with this team. They installed an ac/heating combo unit in my condo. They removed the old one and replaced it with a brand new one in under 3 hours. They wore mask shoe covers and protected my floor with coverings. Once installed Mr Mohammed explained how to replace the filters..and how to maintain the unit. He also installed a carbon monoxide detector near the unit noting I didn't have one. Simply amazing. Great job. Kudos.

Captain HVAC is very professional. They are timely, knowledgeable, and communicative. We have used them countless times for all that comes with an aging house. I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed with their services.

I have nothing but respect for level of commitment & professionalism shown by the crew. Diagnosed the problem, gave me multiple options that would suit based on budget. Completion and cleanup; definitely recommend for HVAC needs.
