Jeff & Corey did a fantastic job on my new furnace installation. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Cleaned up great! Also gave a very thorough exclamation on how the smart thermostat works with all of its fancy features.
It started with Todd B and the initial meeting discussing with me my options of furnace. He was a wealth of information and extremely helpful and flexible with our meeting.

Ken from Kustom Heating & Cooling arrived on time, did his work in a professional manner, explained everything to me, and was a pleasure to work with. He showed me photos of the problem areas in my heating and cooling systems.
I'm an IT professional, and I really appreciate the systems Kustom uses to facilitate their business processes. But all this is done to support the field technicians, and Ken executed the work on my heating and A/C system flawlessly.

Drew as usual did a very thorough job, and showed me the metrics on how my A/C’s performance improved because of what he did. Very professional.

AC and Furnace Inspection went well. The technician informed me on the condition of the AC and Furnace without trying to upsell me. He was punctual, efficient, and friendly. I'll definitely be using their service again.

Needed to have a previously installed furnace certified for the city of Elgin. Original contractor didn't get a permit. I couldn't get anyone to do the permit for under $1,000. For a permit? Seriously? I was referred to Kustom and they said they would do the inspection for a standard $150 and then a bit more for the cost of the permit and time to file it.

Jake came out and did the most thorough inspection I've ever seen and I'm in my 70's. He photographed each step, exceeded my expectations and then pointed out the existing shut off valve was no longer an approved valve. Said it didn't need to be replaced immediately, but likely would not pass inspection. So we replaced it as well, rather than have more time and effort involved.

I recommend Kustom without reservation. They were professional, expedient, courteous, and reasonably priced. HVAC contractors tend to have a bit of a negative stigma from unscrupulous individuals. Kustom gives proof that there are good, trustworthy companies in the business.

Eric at Kustom Heating and Cooling did a terrific job! This was my second time using Kustom. A great bonus is Kustom sends a text w a photo of the service person so I could verify that the correct person was at my door. Eric was professional, polite and totally thorough. He explained his process and showed me photos of my furnace & AC units after he inspected them & did routine maintenance. He was quick to get started and stayed on task. Eric spent more than an hour examining and providing maintenance for the furnace(s) and another hour on the AC units. He told me what he saw and what I might expect on the horizon. I felt like I could totally trust what he was saying because he had simple explanations and showed me the images of the units. I will use Kustom Heating and Cooling again!
