great prices, quality service. Sorry Fred!! In reviewing our activity for today our Technician actually spent a total of TWO (2) hours and 40 minutes to get your air conditioning up and running. The unit that is located on the ROOF of an apartment complex where your TENANT was - not you. Sorry that you are upset about spending money on your a/c that you purchased 8 years ago for $1,100. As we tell our customers, an air conditioner is machinery, like a vehicle. It must be maintained on a regular basis for performance. Based on what my technician told me about the condition of your property's a/c, you have NOT maintained the unit. Before you post false accusations, spend the time to understand the products installed before accusing us of ripping you off.

Had a signed a contract with them to install a new heating and air conditioning system with ten years warranty on parts and labor, plus three years free tuneup. Soon after, the furnace broke down with defective parts. They avoided the ten years warranty on parts and labor completely because the defective parts were responsibility of the manufacturer in Texas, even they were the one who signed the contract. Frustrated with their deception practice, eventually I registered my complaint with BBB, Illinois State Attorney and Federal Trade Commission.

I had a new furnace installed last December. They failed to contact me when the actual installation was going to happen. They failed to notify me that I needed a permit (Bolingbrook) until the city had stopped by and threatened to stop the work. After pestering the workers, their office finally called me and demanded that I go get a permit. They failed to notify me that I needed a cashiers check for payment. Then when I expressed my frustration afterwards, I heard no response.

The unit installed works fine, although it has a big "Place vendor information here" sticker. To add insult to injury, my air conditioner did not work this spring. Thankfully, I had the sense to check the box outside for the air conditioner and found it switched off.

My biggest frustration so far is the complete lack of customer service. I'm terrified of having any problems with the actual furnace.

I just wanted to convey my dissatisfaction with how the install went on tuesday.

First, I never received a response to the email bellow. I figured AAA was just waiting until Monday. At about 4:30 PM on Monday, I decided to call, as I had made arrangements to be around for the install. I was told everything was as planned.

Tuesday, Dan and Tim, the installers arrived in the morning. They were professional and courteous. Apparently when they were dragging out the old furnace Bolingbrook stopped by. That's when AAA's office started calling Tim and Dan wanting them to get a permit. Then after numerous calls, AAA called me! I was told, with a bit of an attitude, that the Permit is the customers responsibility. I have had 3 permits in the last few months, AAA was the only one I had to get myself. That's fine, but my issue is the lack of notice! After bolingbrook stops during the install, when I have two kids in the house and no heat, is not the time to let me know that I need a permit. I would have been more than happy to stop by, given some kind of notice. I do not install furnaces, so I expected AAA to be professional and at least notify me of this requirement. Bolingbrook also seemed surprised as AAA is registered with the village.

Finally, installation was complete and it was time to pay. I was planning on paying with a check to get the 3% discount. Oh, check? Cashiers only please? My bank is a 5 minute walk from my office. It was no problem to get a check with notice. However, it was a little late for that.

My heat went out suddenly and the folks at Expert Heating were called. They were here quickly and explained the problem very professionally. They are easy to work with and Anthony was a great guy!!

The technician, David, was great! It is wonderful to experience a technician that is knowledgeable, thorough and honest. I now have a heating and cooling company that I know I can rely upon. That is a wonderful feeling. I am a customer for life.

I am a professional myself and deal with people on a daily basis. It's sad when you try and call a company 3 times to speak to the technician who supposedly fixed an AC unit. The property is still not cooling off and no call back from the company. I am extremely patient and never leave a bad review unless it is deserved.

I stand disappointed. Horrible service. Will not help in holding Carrier's responsible for a defective part that they installed because our warranty is up by 2 days. We called Carrier and were told heating company could do more.
