Reuben & his team were great! I had a non-emergency issue with my HVAC and he scheduled a tech to come out within 2 days. They were punctual, helpful, thorough & resolved the problem! I felt the pricing was very reasonable for a job well done, and I will use Polar Vortex Heating & Cooling again in the future!

I highly recommend this company. Ruben was straight forward, honest, and informative. I had someone from Four Seasons inspect my AC unit a week ago. That technician said there was nothing wrong but I should spend $800 on airduct cleaning. Turns out my AC failed yesterday. I was referred to Ruben by another owner in my building. Ruben and his team member came to my place within an hour of speaking on the phone. He identified that the compressor was the issue and they fixed it within 30-minutes.

I called during one of the coldest days of the winter after Four Seasons Heating & Cooling botched a repair, overcharged, and left my elderly parents without heat during subzero temperature. Ruben from Polar Vortex came over at 11pm, fixed the issue in 2 minutes and even refunded the fee after having him come back to install new units. He was polite, professional, and above all, honest.

If you are looking for a reliable technician or just trying to get away from Four Seasons, like me, I can't recommend Polar Vortex enough.

Ruben is responsive, friendly, trustworthy and professional. He took the time to go over our quote (which we were comparing to 3 others) to explain all the details of the furnace and ac compressor we were receiving, never rushing the process. He took his time to install everything properly, and then to show us the work that went into the installation and answer questions about how everything works. He also gave a very honest answer to questions about how to best maintain the life of our equipment. I highly recommend Polar Vortex and will be utilizing them for annual maintenance!

I'm a new owner of an old two flat and really didn't know much about the preexisting heating system. Of course, issues started happening on one of the coldest days of the year. On a whim, I saw that Ruben was located near us and gave him a call. To my surprise, he picked up. On one of the coldest and busiest days he still had time to take my call and guide me through his process.

I recently contacted Polar Vortex to install a whole home humidifier to our furnace. They were responsive and professional.

Ruben and his crew came for the initial quote and installation and identified additional issues that they could fix. During the installation, they sealed up pipes and other components that had been poorly installed by contractors (ho renovated our home a couple years ago) - free of charge.

Ruben and team re-located our return vents and cleaned our furnace. They were very responsive (always picked up his phone, which is a rare bonus in the trades) professional, quick and from what I can tell, did a first class job on the install. I also liked the way he communicated the options and didn’t just make assumptions. We also ran into an issue with the furnace and Ruben was quick to repair and take ownership of the issue.
