Highly recommend Lucas Mechanical, we had them install a new A/C unit for us. They were really great, communicative, on time, really clear about costs and what the project would entail. No pressure-filled sales pitches either along the way, just solid work from a nice group of professionals. I'll definitely be using them again.

I had a tremendous experience with Lucas when our heat went out with an early cold snap. We had just moved to the South Loop so all of our lifetime repairmen wouldn't come out because we were out of their zone. Thankfully, we found Lucas. Like everyone at that time, they were booked solid with everyone losing heat. However, later in the day they called me and said they could fit me in the next day. They came right on time. The repairman was great and identified the problem right away. He fixed it on the spot. Since the furnace was old, we asked if we could get it replaced. Now, he had an easy sale. Instead he said we were better off waiting and gave me several reasons why. Not many outfits will give up a major sale.
It's good to know, as a new resident to this neighborhood that I now have Lucas Mechanical to rely on.

An unwelcome radiator leak over a Holiday weekend. Lucas Mechanical acquired Hollub Heating...You can still reach Mr. Hollub. Lucas Mechanical has continued the tradition of analyzing the issues and solving them efficiently. Lucas Mechanical noticed a potential Gas Leak on a disabled Steam Boiler Gas line and capped the Gas line going to the rusted pipes that were starting to Rust. Great Crew, Excellent Work, and fantastic Customer Service.
