    Mr. Burris got us out of a bind with our heat. After we called, he responded by phone right away to give an idea of what could be wrong. We made an appointment for the next day. Much to our pleasant surprise, he called early the next morning, letting us know he was on his way. Prompt, professional -- we are thankful.

    Anytime Cleaning

    Call to make an appointment on Friday and was given a time frame between 10 and 12 today. Not only did no one showed up, I was given a call 5 minutes before 12pm and no one showed up as mentioned. When speaking to Burris, he mentioned to me that he never shows up although that's what I was told would happened and he also mentioned that he had a doctor's appointment which to me didn't make sense if you knew this upfront then why give me the time frame. It's unfortunate that this happens a lot with black owned businesses and this is part of the reason why it's difficult to do business with black owners when you have this lack of professionalism and lack of people showing up when making appointments. It really sucks because, all of the reviews and feedback were promising but I guess everyone's experience is different. Would not Recommend!

    Mr Burris is the best! Another company told me the circulation pump had failed on my boiler system and quoted almost $6k to replace it.
    I spoke with Mr. Burris after getting his info from a neighbor, he was emphatic that the pump is fine and just needed some minor work. Sure enough, he was right! $245 later we are back to normal!
    I appreciate his troubleshooting mindset, and how he strives to repair things rather than just jumping to conclusions about replacing very expensive and complicated equipment. I'll be calling Mr. Burris for any boiler/plumbing needs in the future!

    I asked to have my toilet rodded. After the quote - I simply stated that seemed high but never stated I didn’t want the service. The gentleman hung up before I could finish my sentence. RUDE…

    Mr. Burris is more than a 3rd generation expert in plumbing and HVAC services. Mr. Burris is without question the absolute “Master of the Craft”! It has been an honor to have met his team and have them service my home. His savvy-know how, technical expertise and exceptional customer service remind me of the “work ethic” from a bygone era of generations past. He, Ken the plumber, and their team were prompt, efficient, and meticulous in every detail.

    My problem was complex and I was very fortunate to find Mr. Burris. I had a burst pipe that prevented me from heating my home. I had previously met with three (3) HVAC specialists that week - including one that regularly advertises on television. I was unimpressed with all three. They boasted about their commercial, industrial and residential experiences but could not offer a “precise” resolution to my problem. I was uncomfortable not knowing what to expect. Fortunately. I received a strong recommendation to call Mr. Burris. When he learned I had no heat, he said “I’m on my way!”

    What impressed me most of all was Mr. Burris’s confidence and extensive experience working in a home like mine. Unlike the other HVAC contractors I met. Mr. Burris was very decisive and reassuring. He knows this business. He takes pride in his craft and his family’s tradition of service. True to their motto: “They treat all of their customers like part of the family”.

    As soon as he entered my home that evening, he told me it was over 100 years old. He said: “old houses are challenging because they are structurally different than newer, modern homes.” Like an architectural engineer, he knew my home’s plumbing layout, which direction pipes were installed, and the science behind my heating system.

    Within minutes, Mr. Burris identified the precise location of my problem. He contacted Ken the plumber and gave him a directive in less than 60 seconds. Both genuinely cared about my comfort and preserving the integrity of my heating system. They were insistent: “We’ve got to get her some heat. The temperature is going to drop below freezing this weekend”.

    Ken’s appointment was 9:00 am the following day. He called around 8:00 am and was at my door by 8:30 am. Mr. Burris called several times and even came by my home as added assurance that he stands behind the most exceptional standards of prompt, quality service. Ken and his assistant Willie were like engineers in identifying and resolving my problem. As a follow-up, both Ken and Mr. Burris contacted me in the evening and again early the next day.

    Most impressive were their competency, integrity, efficiency, and affordable prices. Mr. Burris takes pride in his craft and is the embodiment of his family’s tradition of professional excellence and quality service in the HVAC industry that began 105 years ago, in 1917.

    Burris & Sons Heating Cooling and Plumbing are legends and have achieved notoriety as one of Chicago’s most valued and trusted HVAC resources, including endorsements from Peoples Gas and Northern Gas. Thank you Mr. Burris for being “the best of breed and the best of class”! My gratitude to you and your team for your thoughtfulness, exceptional service, and affordable prices is beyond measure!

    On one of the coldest nights of the year, Mr. Burris saved the day. Our furnace went out and after four seasons told us it would be $10k, I called my father and he said he “had a guy.” Mr. Burris is special. Not only has he been fixing furnaces for over 60 years- he’s a kind man with patience to figure out the problem. We had a few laughs while he was at my home and he showed me the importance of getting a second opinion from an honest source. I’m so relieved that I now can say “I’ve got a guy.” Mr. Burris for President!

    Only did Mr Burris do an amazing job, he was very knowledgeable in explaining the issue I was having! He went floor by floor in my 3 flat and made sure my heating system was in top top shape!

    We found a leaky valve and before I could come back upstairs he had it fixed….

    A true heating and cooling guru!
