Beware Arzet Heating & Air, they will rip you off when your air conditioning breaks down in the summer heat. The a/c at my condo went out and I called Arzet to come take a look. They told me I needed a new run capacitor and the total charge would be $625. Pretty pricey, but worth it to get the air running again! Then a few hours later the air was not cold at all so I called and they scheduled a visit for tomorrow.
The next visit they told me I had a freon leak which needed to be fixed and I had three options:
1) Recharge the freon and add leak stopper for $1100
2) Do a leak test and repair the leak and add freon for $1700
3) Replace the whole system for $5200
I chose option two because the unit is 11 years old and it should last for a few more years at least. They did the leak test for maybe 2 hours and told me they could not find the leak and it must be in the wall so there is nothing they can do. Also they will add leak stopper to the freon recharge which will be an additional $275. So I had to pay them $1975 because I chose option two instead of option 1, which would have saved me $875. I called them about this obvious discrepancy in my invoice and they said a manager would get back to me by the end of the day. No one ever called me back. So I paid $2600, half the cost of a new system for them to not solve my problem. Call anyone else if you want to save yourself thousands of dollars for a normal service call.

Our old house had a unique HVAC situation - radiator heat & no AC on the 1st floor, and furnace + AC on the 2nd floor. We've used Arzet since 2011 to keep it all running well, and they've always been the best. When the old AC went out, Walter came out to consult and we opted to have 5 Mitsubishi mini splits installed instead of replacing the old AC. Walter & his team removed the old boiler & radiator pipes and the old AC, and then installed the mini splits. It was a lot of work but everything went very smoothly. The communication was great throughout, the work happened when they said it would happen, and everything was done faster than we expected. They somehow managed to leave the house tidier than it was to begin with, despite the demo needed. The mini split units are working perfectly. And we finally have consistent AC & heat throughout the house. We highly recommend Arzet.

Walter Arzet has been one of the most professional people I have encountered in the business. He made himself readily available when I had 2 issues with my thermostat and HVAC system in a span of a few weeks. While being professional he showed attention to detail and care to not only fixing the issues but taking the time to explain to me what was wrong. I would highly recommend Walter and his crew for any job requiring A/C repair and improvement. The estimates he gives are based on the costumers benefit rather than their own personal gain. When it comes to the actual job Arzet heating and cooling does very clean works around safety, making the jobs they do long lasting. When they worked on repairs for our A/C and water heater replacement and installment it was done with the intension of doing it right with no need for revisitation or more repairs. Any questions I had were met with immediate response on solutions and insight showing the sheer knowledge and understanding towards the problem. Whenever an issue arises in my home there's no question to whom I'm calling for the exceptional job and service that the Arzet company provides.

Specifically, Arzet has done the following for my townhouse:
1. Replaced the furnace and AC, installing top of the line units 2 years ago and have had no issues since. I shopped around and was very happy with the outcome.
2. Installed a tankless water heater system this past fall, which was complicated due to a cramped space and required drilling through brick, yet they managed to get it all done in a day. Daniel led the installation and Victor kept me informed throughout the estimate and scheduling process.
3. Most recently a water pipe froze and burst in my wall - Daniel was able to come out within 2 hours (and on a holiday weekend) to replace the pipe. This was incredibly stressful but Walter went above and beyond to talk me through the issue and next steps, and Daniel was on site to fix it. Cannot thank them enough!

I had an issue with a leak in my AC. They sent over the technician and I must say he took care of me like I was his family. Best service I have ever had!!!
