Our furnace was not working. Called this morning, and spoke with Amy, who was very nice. Within 30 minutes, Al arrived to diagnose and repair the problem. So was great. He explained exactly what he was doing, provided helpful tips, and was very personable and courteous. The fee to come out was more reasonable than other places, and they did not take advantage of a desperately cold person, who knows nothing about HVAC. The furnace is working perfectly, and we paid less than $150, in total. I would recommend Youngren's.

Had called to schedule an appointment for my furnace. Scheduled it two days in advance. Had issues with it the night of my call and contacted them to ask for assistance. The on-call tech was rude and condescending. He was also the same tech that showed up at my house two days later and with the same manners. He eventually changed his tune, but nonetheless, don’t expect somebody to come to my house and tell me how I’m an uneducated homeowner. Pretty sure that’s why I call “experts” when I don’t know how something works or my ability to fix it is limited. The jury is still out if I would use them again.

Just had our 1 year air=conditioner clean and check. Youngren’s did the install with ecobee thermostat.
With our old air conditioner, e could never get our 2 story house consistently cool throughout during the hot summer months. However, Youngren’s was able to figure out the right combination of air handler and condenser that would do the job. Our house is now consistently cool throughout during the hot summer months. The ecobee thermostat is great, especially to help adjust the temperature when we are not home.

I have used Youngren's on a couple of occasions now. Once for AC and twice for Heating. I am a bit indifferent. They are responsive, staff and technicians are personable but, pricing is on the high side or is a moving target. In some respects, you do get what you pay for, I understand. Here is where I have an issue. Had them come out for a service call in early January. inspection, cleaning etc. The technician stated that everything was in good working order despite the age of the furnace. Approximately three weeks later the furnace was making a loud noise, rumbling, etc. Had them come back out. It was determined that the blower wheel needed to be replaced. Made sense. The intial cost was well over $600. Which based on research is pretty high. We negotiated a price of $370 which I agreed upon and keeping in mind they were at my home three weeks ago prior. Installer installed the blower and I was getting ready to pay the bill. He informs me that there would be an additional $60 for transit time to pick up the part. Confusing because he originally said that was pulled out of the original cost. Head scratcher. At this point, I had enough. Paid the $430 and sent the technician on his way. Not sure I would have them come back out to be honest. Worst case, I suggest not working in good faith. Shop it as much as you have time for.

I did receive a call back from Tim at Youngren's on 2/1 and he genuinely apologized for the confusion and "made it right." Which I appreciate. Not many people would make that call and not many would "make it right." Class act Tim. Thank you.
