Andy arrived on time for a maintenance on my AC. He noticed my galvanized pipes on my water heater were rusted and the bladder had a hole in it so he fixed it the same day. I was very happy that I didn't have to schedule for another day. I have been very happy with J&D Heating

Extremely hot outside. We were out of town and had people staying at our home. They called to say the air conditioner was not working. I called and they were available (they were the service number on the air conditioner). They were extremely quick. Which was why I gave the 2 stars. He called with an estimate that started at over $8000. We finally got down to the problem. We were charged $889. The Capactor was &470. A new starter kit was $209. The diagnostic was $119. The agreement we had to have was $90. The parts on Amazon come to less than $100. Needless to say, the markup was extreme.

They were supposed to be there for a tune up and maintenance on our AC unit last month. When he was "done" (not sure what he did other than spray our AC unit off) he said we needed a dual start capacitor- quoted me almost $600 to replace it. My husband looked up the part on line- costs around $70. We had a local guy come out last night and HE did a maintenance and added refrigerant and checked a few other things that were "missed" with JD and he charged us total $190-that was a tune up, labor, capacitor part and coolant. What a rip off this place is!!!
