I purchased a Whole House Fan System from Island Cooling (IC) in late-2022. I can't write enough good things about my dealings with IC. I'd give them a 10+ out of 10. During pre-purchase, Al Whitworth provided technical documentation, answer installations questions and suggested alternatives. During installations Mr Whitworth responded to questions quickly and completely.
To say the experience was a good one is an understatement.

Mr. Whitworth patiently explained and demonstrated the HVAC duct system and was with us throughout the installation. Even after the installation, we received period calls to see if everything was operating satisfactorily. We now use this system instead of turning on our AC.

We had our house fan installed a couple years ago and we love it! The solar fan that was installed began to leak and they were very responsive on addressing the problem and assured me that if it occurred again they would respond. Great customer service!

had Air Cool system installed . system did not meet expectations. it just circulated hot air. we had a split level A/C system installed which is really what we should have done initially. the Air Cool system was a wasted investment.

ivan & his staff were on their game. we wanted to install a whole house fan, however we were running into roadblocks w/ our HOA. ivan gave us the venting requirements, however the HOA said anything visible from the street was common property. we still want to use "Island Cooling", but we are going to have to figure out another solution that would be acceptable to the HOA.

Ivan was very helpful, offered to deliver the unit to me in Mililani since he was going to be attending a homeowners fair in the area. He even installed the optional RF Controller onto the unit, even though we were going to install the fan unit ourselves.
