Terrific service from Zach today. Resolved issues and general maintenance was above and beyond expectations.

AC wasn't working. $99 to come out (I live 5 minutes from their office).
Technician shows up, hooks some equipment up to the condenser, but no hoses or manifold. Says he thinks the coils are just dirty, but there could be more. He won't know until after he cleans them. It'll be $125 to clean them. Uses my hose and does what appears to be a very thorough job spraying my condensers. Still not cooling well. Goes into the attic to check the furnace. Says a sensor bulb is not attached correctly and he'll attach it for free. So far, so good. Attaches the bulb, goes back out to the condensers and comes back and says I need some refrigerant, but he can't add it if he thinks it's leaking. Wants to do a leak check by just adding nitrogen and looking for the leak for $135, but if he can't find it that way, he'll need to use an electronic device to find it and that will be an additional $390. After that, it's $200 for the first pound of refrigerant and slightly less for additional! I can see where this is going so I told him no thanks. They started with small numbers and are just going to keep running it up. $200 for a pound of refrigerant is robbery! I called several places today, most quoted me $60 and the place I settled on is going to charge me $50.

After 24 years one of my furnaces finally gave it up. I called Holtkamp on on a very cold Friday. Matthew came out that afternoon and quickly diagnosed the issue which was one of the blower motors had gone bad. He was able to get it running again but we knew it would quit again. Which it did that evening. Matthew reviewed my options and quoted me pricing for two new furnaces. We were set up for 8am Monday morning and his installers arrived right on time as promised. They were very professional and courteous. They got the job done, asked if we had any questions, cleaned everything up, even vacuumed the floors around the area they were working! We are all good again enjoying good comfort. Thanks Holtkamp team!!

We’ve been customers of Holtkamp since 2013 when they installed a completely new HVAC system in our home. They’ve maintained our systems since. Always professional and on time. Not a single issue until last week. We were about to leave town for July 4th festivities when our AC stopped cooling. After calling and explaining our dilemma Holtkamp jumped into action and had everything up and running within a few hours. Everyone from the nice lady that took our call to the courteous technician went above and beyond! This is and always has been a quality company. We’ve had others and trust me they don’t hold a candle to Holtkamp.

My first experience with Holtkamp heating & air came as I was making a delivery to their shop in Suwanee Ga. I backed up to their loading dock and walked inside and was greeted by a man huge welcoming smile and was immediately asked how my day was going. He made feel as if I was coming over for thanksgiving dinner or something and I’d been away for awhile. As a pickup and delivery driver I deal with lots of different personalities and this man was very genuine and sincere. They keep a super clean and well organized shop also. It was only after I was leaving that I noticed that the man that was so welcoming to me was Mr Holtkamp himself, after seeing his face on the vans. I really feel you can tell a lot about a person on how they treat people that can’t do anything for them. Fast forward 6 months my whole heating air system went out and Holtkamp heating & air was the first company I looked into unfortunately I lived outside their service area. I would say if have any heating air issues you owe to yourself to check these guys out. These guys are the real deal. Check their Facebook out they do a lot of good in Community.

Brandon was on time, very professional and courteous. He assessed the problem quickly and answered all our questions. Will definitely use Holtkamp for our HVAC service.

Update -- we replaced our upstairs/attic unit and I can confidently and highly recommend Matthew and his team. They were early, professional, courteous, hard working, spent the entire day, and didn't depart until all questions were answered. The 2 technicians could not have been more professional working together to complete the work. Have known about Holtkamp for years, but have defaulted to our Home Warranty in the past. Had a unit peter out on us and called Matthew about getting a quote to repair or replace. We made the decision to replace, but given busy summer schedules we cannot get an installation time for 1 week. While waiting our other unit stopped cooling. Called Holtkamp to see if they could make a same day call to check this unit. They sent a tech within a few hours and was able to do a quick fix for an extremely fair price. We're still without our unit until it can be replaced, but Matthew's team delivered a portable AC unit to hold us over. Great customer service (Techs and everyone on the phone) and great leadership.

Holtkamp came through yet again with a great service experience. Kevin was very thorough in making sure all components of my HVAC system were working and in great shape. And, on top of that, he went out of his way to help me with my mouse traps in the attic. This company is above excellent. They are superior in every way from the ownership to the office staff to the technicians. And that goes for the salespeople too. I purchased my American Standard HVAC w/heat pump system from them a few years ago and have been very pleased with its performance both in the home comfort it has provided and my lower electric bills. Holtkamp is definitely the way to go for all of your heating and air needs. I am so glad I chose them when I needed a new HVAC system.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this Holtkamp experience was! Brandon went above and beyond to ensure our issue was fixed as quickly as possible, working until nearly 10pm to get us back up and running. I have come to rely on Holtkamp'a honesty, hard work, and excellent service. Thanks for another job well done!
