We bought our ac unit from Snellville Heating in October of 2018 and since then, we've been maintaining our unit through them. At no time we had any problems with our unit until one of their employee came by on Friday June 2, 2023 to perform maintenance on our unit. The unit was working perfectly well before this guy came and since he left, our unit is not working. There's no air coming out the vents and the entire house is very hot. We have to be using our ceiling fans to try to keep us cool.
They sent someone out this morning, June 6, to check the unit only to let us know that our unit has no freon because it's leaking and to repair it, they will have to charge us. Not only that, the guy they sent out was a rookie according to the same person who came this morning. And what I found very strange is that at no time since we have the unit, did anyone of the previous guys who had perform maintenance to the unit had ever sent an email to us with attachments showing readings etc. This guy chooses to do that as a cover up. He definitely did something to our unit and now this company is acting like they're not responsible for the damage. Also, how can a 4 years and 8 months unit that has been getting regular maintenance services by Snellville heating company, just suddenly stop working? Now I'm stuck with a unit that's not working because they want to charge us a large sum of money to repair it. I probably need to contact lawyer about this and definitely get with BBB.
UPDATE: This is an update that the situation was taken care of by one of the manager at Snellville Heating. A technician was sent out to my property and my ac unit is now working properly.
What a Christmas Eve morning waking up to failing heat. Freshly 2-days out the hospital, I began calling with blind hope of getting a repair. Most were days out from service. Thankfully, Snellville heating and air responded to my call and was able to get a tech out by 6:00 PM. Jeremy quickly diagnosed the problem as a frozen condensate line, had their plumber out to reroute. All was then good. Thank You!!
Seasonal maintenance on heating. Replaced 2 filters at my request. They could have lasted longer, but due tomy allergies, I wanted new ones. Fred was the Tech. I give him 5 stars. Very likeable and nice young man.
They replaced an upstairs toilet for me about 1 week ago. They arrived very quickly after I placed my initial call. Lance Miller, (Plumbing Technician) arrived and did a terrific job. He was very professional, friendly and cleaned up after job was done, as if our house was his. I highly recommend Snellville Plumbing and a special thanks goes out to Lance Miller. We had multiple companies give us an estimate and decided on Snellville. Love this company. They were on time. They were pleasant and interactive with us. They had to come back out when part of the system failed. They took out the entire system and reinstalled another one that was an upgrade to what we had originally purchased and did not increase our price. They were so apologetic for the failure even the owner of the company came out to make sure we were happy.
Great customer service! I called Friday night as the AC went out. I received a call letting me know that it would be Saturday morning before someone could come. Saturday morning I received a call letting me know the tech's name and that he would contact me to schedule a time. It was less than a minute and the tech called and was out within an hour. He fixed my AC, was very professional, polite and courteous. I was very impressed. The communication was awesome. I highly recommend.v

But there’s one you may not have heard of on those outlets, because they’re a small family-owned business that grows organically through word of mouth.
That would be Snellville Heating, Air, and Plumbing.
We have tried a few of the other houses in town. What was said on the commercials did not show up at our door. We saw a Snellville Air van in traffic - clean, well maintained, and with tools nicely stowed. That’s one of the things I look for in a service provider. We grabbed their number and gave them a call.
From the time we contacted Ginger at SnellAir, as their website is named, we were already treated like a valued customer. We joined the Comfort Club, which gives you two maintenance visits and preferred response and pricing.
Shortly thereafter, being that it was a very hot summer, I noticed some degraded performance.
We had actually been called already by the professional and responsive Andrew from the SnellAir office to arrange a maintenance visit shortly thereafter.
Corderius was assigned to our job, and let me just say that regardless of the ideas many people have about young people these days, I’ve found many of them to be hard working, industrious, and just plain SMART. “Q,” as he is known, is all of these. He was a complete and consummate professional at every step. His attentiveness, technical skill, willingness to answer questions, and just plain friendly and decent humanity were a breath of fresh air in a market full of demanding customers and high expectations.
At his young age, he has mastered his craft, but more than that - his work ethic - and the joy he takes in his labor and for the people he helps - just WOW. You don’t find one like him every day. A family man out there perfecting his craft.
But SnellAir is a family-owned business, this is what they look for. A certain type of person. Ability? Sure! But also HEART - a helping hand and reassurance. The peace of mind that knows you’re going to get things done right.

Big shout out to my friends at Snellville Heating and Air they took such good care of us! Last month our a/c went out and the unit was the original from when the house was built in 05, so we knew what the inevitable outcome would be. Not only did they have Mark out here the same day to give us the bad news but we had a new system installed within just days. These guys always take such good care of us at work, and they put a system in my grandparents house some years back, so they were my first call. And with this HEAT the last week we have really put this system to the test, and it has not disappointed! Not only have we stayed cool, but the $$ we saved on our power bill is crazy! Thank you guys again for everything!
I had a leak coming through my ceiling from the A/C unit overhead. I called last night and they had someone here before noon this morning. Wyman was courteous, professional and thorough. He unclogged the drain and repositioned the safety so it should shut off if it ever gets clogged again. Great service and price! I will definitely use again.
