I had several companies come out and provide estimates to replace my entire system. Phelps provided the best plan to solve my current cooling challenges without adding on extra work not necessarily needed like other estimates. The price was fair and the service excellent! Install was timely, clean, and most impressive was their follow up after the install! To them, there was a slight humming coming from the new motor that I could barely hear and they took the extra steps to change it out because it didn't meet their standard. Service tech even followed up the next day to double check! That kind of customer service is hard to find! Thank you Phelps for going above and beyond!

Great customer service. Our A/C went out and they came out right away. Replaced the capacitor and we we're up and running. About 30 minutes later it quit again. I called the next morning and they came out and replaced the fan motor at no charge. Hung around awhile to make sure all was good. The technician was Awesome. Now, we have great working air. Thanks Phelps for you outstanding service.

After building our new home in 2003 we quickly discovered the HVAC unit installed by another HVAC company was not installed according to specification and efforts to resolve the problem went nowhere. We then received a recommendation to contact Jason Phelps of Phelps Heating and Airs who responded quickly. Before we knew it the unit was up and running without difficulty. Since that time Phelps Heating and Air has been our service provider with Michael and Eddy keeping us warm in winter and cool in summer. They also do yearly preventive maintenance to assure its in good running condition and when required they come when called to make the repair. What we most appreciate is they always call first to let us know they are on the way.

Recently after 15 years that same unit needed to be replaced and Jason Phelps recommended it be replaced with a Goodman system. Jason’s install team led by Andy were professional and completed the exchange in one day.

We have no hesitation in recommending Phelps Heating and Air. Jason and Jason’s team are professional and efficient and most important to the home owner are reliable for HVAC needs.

For 10 years I have had a twice yearly service agreement with Phelps. When the drain line became clogged, they came out but charged $129.00 for the call. I have paid approximately $350.00 for 10 years plus installation of a new unit. What are they servicing on the maintenance calls? I am extremely disappoint in Phelps. Thought they were a good company but seem to be money hungry. Sad

We found ourselves in a bad situation, water damage and mold from a old faulty installed a/c system. Phelps came in, changed their schedule around to expedite my repairs ( we were forced to move during repairs) and did an awesome complete make over of our system. I'm a picky engineer that does a lot of DIY, so I knew what I needed. After an initial consultation with Jason, I had a good feeling that he knew what was needed. They were on the low end of the price scale so making sure they didn't leave something out was very important to me.
On the day of the job, the crew arrived, properly masked and all and proceeded to do a very clean replacement of an AC unit and furnace. The ducting that was originally installed had some serious issues that cut the airflow down and they redid them to provide much better airflow. Then they left the area nice and clean.
The job was done quickly, professionally, and looks good (for an AC unit) too!

Terrible experience with Phelps and I highly recommend going elsewhere for your services. I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate to obtain a whole new system from Phelps. Appointment was scheduled for 4 pm. Technician called to let me know that he was in the vicinity of my home about 5 minutes prior to scheduled time. He also expressed how annoyed he was that he saw another technician from another company leaving my home. My husband met with him, man spent less then 10 minutes at our home and was extremely unprofessional, irritated that he was there and expressively rude. He also told my husband he had been watching our house for at least an hour. Appointment was on Friday, it is now Thursday and we still do not have a quote. Temperatures have dropped into the 20's at night and apparently to this company going without heat is acceptable. Customer service is a low priority for Phelps.
