DID NOT SHOW UP FOR AHS service call. Was late by 3 hours..at 9 pm. I waited all day from 2 -6. NO CALL NO SHOW> NO CONTACT. I had to call another vendor NOT on my home warranty. THIS is totally ridiculous and very unprofessional. I am NOT allowing them on my list of vendors. These are the type of vendors that get home warranty companies canceled. They leave us to last and treat us with extremely poor service.
[Professionalism] I had Express Comfort out almost a year ago and was not that comfortable with the capability of the technicians sent out. I was apprehensive Express Comfort was dispatched again. However, Bob (Robert) was very professional and thorough in his analysis of the problem. I have complete confidence in Bob's abilities to handle any AC/furnace issues I may encounter in the future. Bob is the reason for the 5 star rating.

Called them and ask about sending their diagnosis to AHS but the girl at the office lied all the time about that they already sent the diagnostic to AHS, called Warranty Company they said they got nothing from Express Comfort Heating and Air LLC, keep repeating back and forth since May 22 until now Jun 3 (Almost 3 weeks), nothing moving on. Horrible customer service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish can give them zero rating star. All i can say about this company is HORRIBLE !
Express Comfort arrived when they said they would, and my A/C was repaired and now working very well. The tech was very knowledgeable and demonstrated a good handle on the issue so that the A/C was working again in very short order. Kudos to Express Comfort for a job well done!
Main level air went out-- Megan was super helpful in getting us on the repair schedule the very next day-- Tracy made sure her tech placed us on priority as our upper unit had issues 2 weeks prior-- Zack, our technician was prompt, courteous and efficient making the repair!! Thank you to the TEAM at Express Comfort Heating and Air-- a pleasure to work with!!
I have American Home Shield when I purchased my condo unit. After I closed the sale, I noticed that the AC is not cooling efficiently at a hot day. So I called AHS and this company was assigned to me. They claim this could have been a preexisting condition thus AHS denied service. As a new owner, I buy AHS just to prevent this type of surprises. If you don't know for sure it preexisted before the sales contract, don't speculate it! AC could go bad in one day. even it is for days, no one would notice it until a hot day! Also, they said that they will charge the refrigerant to 10lbs. My other HVAC guy told the that my unit has a max capacity of 3lbs written on the unit panel by the manufacturer. what a rip-off considering how expensive R22 is these days ($80/lb). I would think twice to use them again!

AHS sent them for diagnosing my AC system, they gave out an overprice estimate, almost double with other companies in my area, warranty company send them several notes to contact me to give more details about their estimate but never receive even a response from this company in almost 3 weeks. Horrible service. Very bad experience with this company.
Use caution with this company. I have American Home Shield the technician was very nice and polite but do not use them! AHS was going to cover the cost of the evaporation coil yay but only a portion of the Freon. Express told AHS I needed 12 pounds it would cost $1300 for R22 Freon. I called 2 other companies and they were surprised they didn't offer the converter to use EPA complainant refrigerant which would be much cheaper. Also Express said I needed 12 pounds of Freon both companies I called said probably 8 to 10 pounds max and stated that no home unit would take 12 pounds. It seems they were padding the cost. Not a company I would trust.
I have no idea why the reviews here are so bad. We called on a Tuesday, the person who answered was extremely friendly and professional and schedule my appointment for the next day (in AUGUST!). The service tech called me when he was on the way and arrived on the earlier side of the appointment window. He was able to fix our problem quickly and answered all our questions. He was also friendly and professional. We had a great experience.
Today we had amazing quick service from Express Comfort! Bob came to service our unit today and worked hard to fix the problem effectively and quickly! We put in a service request last night and it was fixed by lunch today! Couldn't ask for better service!!
