My wife set up an application thru American home shield. When the tech came out he stated he needed to get into the attic. We were not prepared for them to need access to the attic and were told that we could reschedule for them to come back. When we called to reschedule we were told that it was too late and that the service was no longer available and that they were only doing repairs but no preseason checks! We Called Homedepot !!
This company doesn't respect their customers time. Rescheduled 3 times after they did not make it out each instance. When they did arrive, they didn't offer any solutions for my units producing cool air. Customer service could not even promise they would be out next time they scheduled. If you make an appointment, then honor it at least once out of the first 3 times. Rude people to work with. Go somewhere else
Chris (the service tech) was AMAZING. He went behind another company AHS Home Warranty sent out that incorrectly wired everything in January while replacing the blower motor. Chris was on time, professional, easy to work with and VERY knowledgeable. He fixed everything with ease and ran several tests to make sure that my system was working at 100 percent. This was literally the best HVAC repair I have ever experienced and I asked my home warranty company to always call Express Comfort Heating and Air out in the future. THANK YOU CHRIS - YOU HAVE MADE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE OUT OF ME WITH YOUR EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!
Driver was driving to close to my bumper. I was driving the speed limit on King Road. Once I pulled into the turning lane I decided to take this photo and report the driver to the owner. The driver rolled down his window and started cursing at me, and he proceeded to give me the finger and screamed "Go ahead call my boss his name is MARK. " I have called Express Comfort every day for the last 3 days and Mark is either in a meeting or left for the day. I have left my number and he has not called me back. I would not want the worker in a home with impressionable young adults or children. Nor would I work with a company whose leader fails to call back a concerned citizen.
This company was scheduled for HVAC repair and didn’t show. I called the company the person that schedule my originally appt , I said I you scheduled and backtracked to say I rescheduled you the following day . I informed her that no one called to inform.I ask if they had someone to come out today and she replied no .. That I would have to call the home warranty company so I called and switch companies I would not use this company you can find better options out there. If they lie to you doing the appointment setting I’m sure they’ll lie to you once a tech gets to your house about your HVAC horrible customer service
The company was quickly responsive to the repair request. They contacted me promptly to schedule the appointment. The technicians were professional. We really appreciated that they called when they were closeby. They arrived and were finished well within the scheduled service window. They repair required a part to be ordered and we were told we should hear from them in a couple of days to schedule the install and completion of the repair. This occurred exactly as indicated and, again, they arrived and completed the repair well within the scheduled window. We've worked with many repair contractors that were either really late, or never bothered to show up. They properly diagnosed and fixed the problem. We really appreciated their professionalism, timeliness, and skilled service!
Be careful with this company they will up charge you for services. I was recommended this company by my insurance company for an evaporator leak. The company did a check and told me there was a leak quill. The insurance company quoted $2,190 out of pocket expense to fix an old AC unit. I called other repair companies in Smyrna and they stated that they wouldn't even repair such an old AC they recommended replacing which would be the most cost efficient option. I had another repair company come and check out the unit. They said if I wanted to repair it would cost $1200 total!!! That's $990 less than Express Comfort Heating and Air LLC. This is without insurance! The new repair company again told me it would be better to replace because in 2 to 3 years it would need to be replaced and quoted me $3,200 to replace the unit inside and outside.
Do your research people! Do not just take the quote from this company. They didn't even recommend replacing the unit with a more efficient system. I would not trust them. Search for a more professional repair company.
We had a great experience using Express Comfort Heating and Air. Making the appointment was convenient and fast, and the technician who serviced our home was amazing. He called before his arrival, was fully prepared, and even took the time to explain what he was doing and why. Overall great experience!
On September 16, their repairmen damaged the pressure relief valve on my adjacent hot water heater while replacing the coil in my A/C unit. They not only acknowledged their action, but tried to repair it and failed. They even offered to discount the invoice if I just made a claim on my home warranty instead of your company being responsible for it. They charged my system 9 lbs. of refrigerant and told me they would only bill me for 8 lbs. if I looked the other way and handle it with my home warranty instead. They expressed concern that their supervisor would be very angry and their paychecks would be deducted for the cost to repair the hot water heater. My response was that (much as I would like to) the home warranty company does not cover claims for damage caused by others, and therefore, there was no claim to be made. They could not finish the coil installation that day because they ran out of sealer tape, and told me they would come back to finish the job 9:00 am the next morning. They also told me they would discuss the damage to the hot water heater with their supervisor and give me a resolution when they returned. On September 17, the repairmen did not return when promised. My family had plans to go to Six Flags that day and thought that the repairs would be completed in the morning. I called their office and there was no record of any scheduled visit that day. Their receptionist was able to get us on the schedule, but they didn’t come by until after 2:00 PM. Our Six Flags plans had to be canceled. In any event, I discussed the damage with the receptionist and she told me she would ask the supervisor to call me on Monday because no one was available on the weekend to handle this complaint. When the repairmen did return to complete the repair, they told me they spoke to the supervisor, that the company accepted responsibility and would take care of any repairs either itself or through the home warranty company. I told them I wasn’t willing to pay otherwise. They apologized for the inconvenience and completed the job. I paid the invoice feeling satisfied that there would be a quick resolution here. Today, I called their office because I did not hear from the supervisor yesterday as promised. I spoke with the receptionist and reminded her of the situation concerning the hot water heater. She placed me on hold. She came back on the line and told me she had just spoken with the repairmen. She told me they denied that any damage was done and that I needed to handle it with my home warranty company. I reminded her of the conversation she and I had on Saturday, and she told me it’s basically my word against theirs. Meanwhile she also told me she was looking at the photos the repairmen took of the damaged area and told me she didn’t see anything. I’m curious why they took pictures if there was no problem to begin with. She told me she would have a supervisor call me asap, and I told her I was going to stop payment on my check. I called her back later confirming I stopped payment on my check and would gladly reissue a new check once this matter is taken care of. I also did follow up with my home warranty company as the repairmen and receptionist advised. They denied any warranty coverage because the warranty expressly does not cover damages caused by others. The home warranty company also advised their service provider relations department of this situation. They are going to review this company to determine whether or not to suspend or terminate sending them any further jobs. Frankly, I’ve had a bad very experience with this company. I was pleased when they came back and told me the company would take care of me one way or another. I relied on their statements and I paid in good faith. Now I get the feeling they were just saying that hoping to get the check and leave, and then hoping I would get the home warranty company to handle it. I never would have paid without their representations. I’ve spent way too much time on this and still have not heard from anyone in charge at this company.
The company's tech arrived after calling me that he was on his way. Unfortunately, the tech wasn't able to resolve my problem but he did make sure that I at least had air conditioner cooling my residence. But he did advise me that the company was going to send another tech to work on my unit since he had to go to his other assigned work orders. The company called me within 15 minutes after the tech left and told me that another tech would be at my house within 30 minutes to 2 hrs. Needless to say, the tech arrived shortly after the call. After arriving, I informed the technician the background to my A/C problem, plus he had already been informed by the previous tech additional information. This second tech resolved my A/C problem within 45 minutes. I truly appreciated the professionism and consideration to my problem that Mr. Bob exhibited during this visit to resolve my A/C problem. I also give tremendous credit to the company's management to have a 2nd technician on the same day to respond to my residence in order to resolve the A/C problem. Great service in dealing with my A/C problem!😊
