This week Aaction Air came out to repair my home AC, in the Atlanta area, because it was not working. The Tech (Barbossa) was Excellent! He was very Professional, explained everything before and while completing the services. He was very knowledgeable of the situation and what was the problem and what needed to be done to correct the issue. He did not have the part to fully complete my services, (my air did work great, before he left, though) but a part was needed. They came back the next Day (Daniel) was also great and very Professional, keep me updated and did an excellent job also. My air is working perfectly! And just in time for these HOT Summer Days ahead. Great Service would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Today I had the pleasure of meeting Eddie a technician from this company. He was super knowledgeable and very transparent about what was going on with my HVAC unit. Unfortunately, I will need my compressor replaced but I had two other technicians come and they said oh everything is fine and put “band aids” on my unit. He immediately found the problem and alerted me. He was very personable and great to work with. Keep up the great work! Thanks Eddie :)
I would definitely recommend using this company because Eddie is awesome! I was without air conditioning for over a week and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working because the heat would work. After checking my system, I learned that I needed a new circuit board. However Eddie worked his magic to make sure I had cooling while I wait for the new circuit board to arrive. I’m so thankful he was able to to help. If you have A/C issues don’t hesitate to give them a call.

Needless to say I was prepped for how to prepare before Willie ( manager ) arrived . 1) turn on your thermostat 2) make sure filter cleaned etc. Let’s just say I paid them to brake my thermostat and try to charge me for a new one . I wondered why as Willie stated it needs to be updated . Later on finding out that when he tried tried to put the face back on he broke it . All he stated was I’m sorry after he was caught . We now understand as we are having to replace out thermostat…Thanks AAction Air
So I would get second opinion and not make them my first option .
Patrick Carmody from AAction was the service tech that repaired my heating system. Patrick was very kind, professional, and informative. If I need any future repairs on my system, I only want Patrick to come out. He did an amazing job and was very thorough. Thank you again for all your help Patrick. You're an amazing person! 🌟WRONG DIAGNOSIS by AACTION... CUSTOMER BEWARE🌟... On Tuesday, 5/3/22, I placed a Service Request with my Home Warranty Company, AMERICAN HOME SHIELD (AHS) for AC Unit not cooling. AHS referred AACTION AIR Conditioning & Heating Co. The first person I spoke with was John at AACTION who said Cortney scheduled me for Thursday, 5/5/22 between 8am - 12pm. John inquired about my ac unit to narrow down possible issues. Answering his questions, I told him it's a new unit just under 2 years old (new construction), still under warranty. I also told him I am a Home Warranty (AHS) customer. I shared that I checked 2-3 reviews about AACTION, he suggested there are some bad reviews from Home Warranty customers and explained his version of why; however, we confirmed the appointment & ended the call. On Thursday, 5/5/22, AACTION came and accessed my AC Unit saying the AC Breaker continued to trip when he tried switching it on. He said that points to a BAD COMPRESSOR. I asked questions regarding how it was determined that a new compressor goes bad but I didn't get a clear answer. I was told to call the office and speak to Cortney on Monday, 5/9/22 at 9am to get a timeline on warranty, repair & cost. On Monday, 5/9/22 around 9am, I called Cortney for a status update. She said they're having internal transaction concerns on which office should process the warranty, Atlanta or Savannah office??? She further asked for a credit card to place on file for $900+ to cover 11 pounds of refrigerant. I couldn't get clear answers on any timeline; therefore, I did not give her my credit card info. When I suggested that she hold off until I call her back she insisted and urged me not to call anyone else regarding the unit because of "ALL" the cost I would have to pay for my unit, etc. I ended the call, suggesting again "I'll call you back later"... I immediately called my AC Warranty/Certified Installer for my AC Unit and told them about the AC issues/concerns per AACTION diagnosis. They suggested a Service visit to confirm the diagnosis of a "bad compressor." I was travelling On Tuesday, so on Wednesday morning, 5/11/22, the manufacturer's certified installer/repairman arrived at my home and assessed the issue as a "BAD BREAKER," NOT a bad compressor as suggested by AACTION. Only a Service Call fee was charged by the Certified Manufacturer's Installer to "CORRECTLY DIAGNOSE & IMMEDIATELY Replace the Part & Repair" My AC Unit like New, Same day, within 30 minutes of arrival. CUSTOMER BEWARE!!... If it sounds suspicious, it probably is. Especially when you're URGED NOT to get another Opinion!
My initial contact with this company from a home warranty request. I could not have been more happy with my service. The technician was prompt and efficient and very informative . I happily signed up for the maintenance plan and not has that saved me time money and stress. Great company for are your heating and cooling needs . I have even had some major repairs that were done ! They have awesome Technicians , Willie Richardson is one of the best ! I always request him and he does a great job ! I highly recommend this company !
We have dealt with Action Air before due to heating issues with our AC unit and we got great service through their tech Patrick. We had another issue come up and we specifically asked for Patrick who came promptly ontime the following day. Yet again, he solved the problem which given the issue many others may have overlooked. We cannot recommend Action Air and their experienced tech Patrick Carmody enough.
Patrick was our technician and he was professional, courteous and took time to explain everything to me from start to finish. 10/10 would recommend again! The scheduling staff was also wonderful to work with. Thanks so much!
Eddie was an amazing professional, he was very good at walking me though the process. 3 stars due to the work not being completed correctly the 1st time the new AC unit was installed. in there defense it was a big job.
