After moving into our current home, we needed a new HVAC system to replace the original (32 year old) unit. There was an old and faded sticker on the outside unit that only contained a 7 digit phone number for Wall Heating & Air Conditioning and I believed if they had kept this unit running way past its service life, I'd give them a chance.
The first tech, Josh, came out and actually spent the entire 2 hour block not just talking about the HVAC but getting to know our growing family. He quoted me a replacement price without any sales pressure as they don't work on commissions. Over the next few weeks, I received 5 other quotes from both local and larger companies and WH&AC beat them all when comparing apples to apples.
The install went great and we realized we really had the right unit for our space and needs; not over sold on too much on tech we wouldn't use, or extra SEER ratings that weren't optimized for out house. It showed that Josh had really listened to us and communicated effectively.
2 months later, everything stopped working. Since everything was 100% covered under warranty, Josh came well after normal hours from his home on the other side of the service area (a county away). He identified the problem, apologized profusely, and let us know that the entire system, both inside and out, were literally fried. Best guess was a rare lightening ground strike nearby. Josh then explained that he didn't have the necessary parts to replace them on hand or at their home office so he went and pulled an entirely new unit off the shelf at the warehouse to make it right. He also added an additional year of full coverage warranty.
That was 4 years ago and we haven't had a problem since. Josh left the company last year and the WH&AC tech, David, that now takes care of our units is just as friendly and conversational as his predecessor. On his most recent visit, he noted some potential issues to keep an eye on in our crawlspace that were outside of his HVAC duties and we were very appreciative as I hate going down there.
Also, Kim, who handles CS, scheduling, and any communication between the techs, is awesome.
We can't recommend Wall Heating & Air Conditioning enough!
David gave me a call to explain my options with installing a new system which was not in my budget. I settled with buying refrigerant and locks to cap off my lines. I will strongly consider having this company install my new unit once it comes into the budget. David even pointed out some things in my crawl space that would help my home run more efficiently. He did an outstanding job.

The 1st visit he was able to update our thermostats and he offered and we accepted Wall Heating & Air's maintenance package. He's extremely knowledgeable and polite! We will continue to use them and refer our friends to you guys.
