Truly great experience in the end.
Originally ordered a replacement motor for our shop air compressor almost 3 weeks ago. FedEx absolutely lost the item for several days, then delivered it in a damaged box with damaged contents. I was able to process the return with grainger over the phone and order a replacement. The staff was very eager to help, even the call center folks made the process easy. FedEx on the other hand got yet another strike from me, I sure wish grainger could go back to shipping UPS as they generally take better care of their deliveries.

I noticed in the reviews that Service was slow. You're not picking up a Pizza. She made sure I had everything I needed, checked to make sure it was in working order before I walked out with it. Good thing, because 1 part was defective. Saved me a huge headache.

Unparalleled customer service. They were fighting to see who could help me first. Timely order fulfillment. Not much more to ask out of a supply store.
