We lost all cooling last night, I emailed Gordon’s overnight. At 9:01 am immediately after they opened Denise called and said Michael would be on the way. I got an email and a text when he was en route to me. Michael arrived and found the problem in less then 10 minutes- coil was blown. We discussed the choices and my wife and I decided on a new system as ours is already 12 years old. Within minutes Michael had helped me decide on what system to have installed, I had applied for financing and was scheduled to have the new system installed the next morning. That’s service!! This is exactly why I call Shane and the wonderful folks at Gordon’s!! Have been a loyal customer through two houses and many years and will continue to use them for all my HVAC needs!!!

Still have not heard back from Shane. Mike performed the scheduled maintenance on my two Bryant Heat Pumps. One unit Is 5 years old and the other is 3;years old. Mike told me that both Dual Run Capacitors had to be replaced at an additional cost of $176. The units were still under a ten year parts warranty. Mike told me that the $88 per unit was a reduced price otherwise the would be about $200 apiece. He had to take the bad units with him to get.rebate from Buryant.
called Bryant and was informed there was no charge at all for the parts and that the dealer knew what to do.
I called Gordon’s back and spoke to Denise. She told me that the $176 charge was for the labor. When I suggested that $176; for 15 minutes I’d work seems excessive when the Cost to maintain the units was about $200 to begin with. She said that the get that cost out of a book and that all the companies use the same book. When I challenged that claim she asked me if I’d like to talk to Shane Gordon I said that I would.
That conversation took place on October 23rd. This is being posted on October 29th.

Very professional, courteous, and prompt Heating and AC Service Team. I had an issue with my ductwork and dampers for my home. I called Gordon Heating and Air where I spoke with a very courteous lady who scheduled my service. I appreciated the text sent to my phone of the upcoming service and a pic with background info of the technician who would be coming to my home to evaluate my service needs. The technician was very knowledgeable about my current and complicated ductwork design to which he provided a more reliable and simplistic design to meet my needs. I also appreciated the techs who installed my new ductwork and dampers. They were very professional and did an excellent job in installing the new system. I also appreciated speaking to Mr. Gordon about my upcoming service as he wanted to make sure that all parts were planned and scheduled to accommodate my personal schedule. Overall, I am extremely pleased with Gordon and his Team and I plan to use them in the future.

They come when you need them. Service people are great and the staff is very receptive to calls and is responsive. Our serviceman (Michael) is always on time and we have been very happy with his work.

My air conditioner unit was installed by Gordon's originally. Within the last couple of months, I started having some issues with the cooling system. I requested a technician to come out to have a look. The first diagnostic evaluation was $79. The tech opened the unit and informed me that nothing was wrong, so he closed it up and collected the payment. Nothing seemed to be wrong with the unit itself, but the tech recommended a cleaning. A service which Gordon's provided. I scheduled a cleaning, to the tune of $169. Two technicians came out separately to clean the unit, on for the inside and one for the outside of the unit. Great.

Approximately one month after my cleaning. The unit stopped working again. Called a technician to come out to take a look. When I called it was $169 for this visit due to it being after hours. When my partner called to attempt to have a technician come out, she was told "It doesn't matter, because it is not your house." This was unnecessary and rude. Unfortunately, by the time the tech called me again, it was $229 because it was after 9 pm. I agreed to pay because I just needed some relief from the heat. The part that was malfunctioning was out of stock and needed to be ordered. Part came in and the tech came out to install it the next morning. Another $209. Keep in mind all of this is "under warranty."

Fast forward to Sunday 8-9-2020 (one month later) the air conditioner unit is now broken again. I called Gordon's to come take a look. Sunday visits are much more expensive than during the week, so I decided to wait until Monday for the technician and only pay the $79 diagnostic fee instead of $229. Tech came out to look at the unit. The component that is broken this time is a small valve that will cost $2,200 to repair and that is with a warranty on the part.

I then contacted Gordon's again to see about having the entire unit replaced considering it is still under warranty. I was informed that this is not an option. The technician told me my air conditioner is dying. This unit is just nine years old, and has only been in service for seven of the nine years. I did some research about the specific unit that I have and it should function properly for about 15 years. I was informed by the owner of Gordon's that air conditioners only last 10 years.

Nearly $700 later and my air conditioner is still not working. No help from Gordon's to have it replaced under warranty. I do not recommend Gordon's Heating and Air. Buyer beware.
