When I received a $400 water bill, I knew I was going call a plumber, and I chose to call Stiles. I was not disappointed! Troy came out and quickly identified my issues. I had a waterline crack coming from the meter to the house, he dug the line up, made a repair, and cleaned up behind himself. Thank you Stiles for your quick and professional service. I will use you guys in the future for sure!

We had Stiles replace our HVAC two years ago. That was a very positive experience and handled very professionally. They recently added plumbing service and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using this portion of the business. We had a technician out to fully check the crawl space because I was a bit worried about a leak but also wanted to make sure we didn’t have any lurking issues with pipes or the hot water heater. The technician went under the house, but I am fully convinced they did not actually crawl around and look. They recommended an expensive replacement of the water pressure reducing valve and that was it. A few days later our handyman was over installing some lights. I asked him to just double check the crawl space, and he found that the seal under the toilet failed and it the water was going straight through the floor and into the crawl space. There is ABSOLUTELY NO excuse that a licensed professional did not find this, and.a handyman did. I called to voice my concerns and dissatisfaction. In the least, I asked for a refund of the service fee they charged me. The HEAD of plumbing pushed back but said he would consider it and took my contact info, but then never followed up. I even reached out to the HVAC contact we used to voice discontent and the company never closed the loop. As to say, my opinion of the quality control for this company has gone down significantly. Thank goodness some people are thorough, just not Stiles.

Stiles is a tremendous company with a great reputation in the Athens area. They worked with me to get exactly what I needed for my residence. They did not try to upsale me to the biggest and best thing, but explained that for my place the right equipment probably wasn't the most expensive. They did a full system install including duct work in one day. Freddy was great! I highly recommend Stiles and Freddy.

We had a water heater go out and leak on a Sunday. Stiles and company immediately ensured the leak was stopped and then Troy had a replacement installed within 24 hours. All of this for a price beating alternative options.

2021 Update: A follow-up as we've used them for several things on the house we just sold and a new house including taking care of things on the inspection report. Fast to respond, detailed and clear in their work, and always being frank about options and what is overkill. I can't suggest them enough for your home services.

Troy from Stiles Plumbing arrived on time, was patient, attentive to detail, and very friendly. He had all the necessary parts for the job, as well as extras and their related components, in case something else was in need of fixing at the same time. He got the job done fast, did a great job explaining what went wrong, and how to avoid problems in the future. Overall a great service from Troy Sexton, I would highly recommend him from Stiles Plumbing.

I really appreciate the professionalism of Fernando and and his crew while installing my two new AC units. They were on time, very tidy, patient with my questions, and worked very hard until the job was completed.

Our technician Freddie Hidalgo was terrific!! He was very professional, polite, efficient and friendly! We are very thankful that Stiles responded so quickly and got us back to a cool comfortable temp!!

We dealt with a home warranty issue (came with home purchase) The warranty company (2-10)wasn't terrible, but the contractor they chose was. The company wanted to replace our 2 ton compressor with a 3 ton back into a 2 ton condenser unit. This mismatch would burn that unit up super quick. On top of that they wanted to charge us to make the modifications needed to fit the wrong compressor into the unit! And it took them 3 weeks to decide on the wrong compressor.

We didn't want this company touching a major system in our home and messing it up, so we took the payout from the warranty and called Stiles. We had heard of stiles through their reputation for quality service work in the industrial sector, but didn't know much about their residential side.

They took part numbers over the phone, and a basic layout of the house and ducting from original plans and our description of modifications (they offered to come examine it, but we had already been a month without a/c in June and I wanted it fixed quick!) and gave us quotes on several types of systems and sizes recommended for our home.

We settled on a 2 stage Goodman unit with lifetime compressor warranty at a price I was astonished they could offer it for! One day later they had it in stock and that afternoon had it installed!

I was incredibly impressed at the young guy who was leading the team (Freddy?)! He looked super young and I was a bit skeptical, but once he got to work it was obvious he was 3x as knowledgeable as any A/C installer I've ever dealt with. He trouble shot a few line issues on the fly and led the other guys pretty efficiently. Also, when a piece of insulation from the attic clogged the foot pump in the basement for condensation removal, he led the charge and replaced it for free instead of just cleaning the 25 year old existing one. Not a huge expense, but a strong reflection of our experience with both he and Stiles!

We had a fantastic experience with Stiles that was also probably amplified by our poor experience with the other company. We will be doing an annual service contract with Stiles for warranty purposes despite my general reluctance for service contracts!

Our first time doing business with Stiles Services...we could not be more pleased. The initial contact with Danielle in the business office was professional and courteous; an HVAC service visit was scheduled.

We have a three zone system with heat pump, air handler, and three electronic WiFi thermostats. Prior service from other companies have not been successful. Our technician, Chris, arrived on time and ready to go to work. His diagnosis was thorough and spot on. The entire system appeared to be failing, thermostats blinking ON/OFF, compressor not running, air handler motor emitting a bad noise. We feared the worse. It took two hours for Chris to work through all the issues, the main one being an incorrect initial installation eight years ago. Wiring errors had led to failures of component parts...our second stage heat strips had never worked...and ultimately led to failure of main circuit breaker in the breaker panel. A difficult series of problems to work through and remedy. And that is exactly what Chris did. His knowledge of the mechanical parts and functions were exceeded only by his bulletproof methodology, never losing sight of the goal which was fixing the problem without unnecessarily replacing parts that were working properly.

We are so happy to FINALLY have the system working as it should and will continue to use Stiles, and Chris in particular, for ALL our future HVAC needs.

My scheduled appointment went very well, the tech was very professional and knowledgeable. I can't forget to mention hard working because it was really hot. My only concern is that it's taking too long to get my electronic receipt. Overall it was a good experience with no regrets. Thanks for handling my problem so fast and professionally.
