Stanfield has been a great company to work with. There were some issues with the install and apparent poor communication between the supervisors and work crews, but they made everything right in the end. They went above and beyond to help us with diagnosing existing issues with our ducts and helped us find a solution to the issues. Overall, I would highly recommend them.

I have had bad luck in the past with other local AC companies (Stiles in particular...I would NOT recommend that company...their shoddy work led to potentially dangerous health conditions in my house when it was owned by my grandparents), but Stanfield has been wonderful to this point.
A comparison of the two companies:
Stanfield Air Systems:
My AC went out due to what I thought was a bad capacitor. The technician was prompt, knowledgeable, showed me how he could tell the capacitor was in fact the issue, and checked my whole system over. I had been having some issues with some fiberglass occasionally coming up from vents, and the ducts appeared to be ok. Scheduled a duct cleaning for a few weeks later. The technician that came out and cleaned my duct work was prompt and did a wonderful job. My fiberglass issue has been resolved. He also noticed the vent on my furnace was rusting, and recommended it be replaced to prevent potentially deadly CO poisoning entering my house.
Stiles:
The vent pipe issues was one of the two dangerous things Stiles had left unaddressed in the past. When Stiles was employed and on a routine service agreement with my elderly and disabled grandparents, the furnace vent was allowed to rust the point it had become disconnected. The other dangerous issue was Stiles installing a condensation drainage pipe in an uphill direction without a pump that led to excess moisture in crawlspace and ultimately mold forming in the house. This necessitated all of the walls in the house being removed, and in the opinion of multiple contractors, been a lingering issue that had been let go. Neither of my grandparents were smokers, but both had respiratory issues that developed later in life so this was particularly concerning.
In a very short period of time, Stanfield has identified issues that were let go by other companies in the past. They have shown me the actual problems, explained causes, and repaired them (when it is work I am not able to do, or comfortable performing). Previous companies have either ignored issues and warning signs, or expected me to just take them at there word when they identified an "issue". I will be staying with Stanfield as long as they continue to provide the excellent repairs, recommendations, and customer service I have seen over the last month as I have started using them. I highly recommend them.

I am so glad I found Stanfield Air Systems! Another company who installed my unit 3 years ago came to do a routine inspection and told me I had a leak that would require the evaporator coil to be replaced. The manufacture’s warranty would cover the part but the labor would be $1440. I was also told the condenser coil needed cleaning for $250 for a total of $1690. That seemed excessive so I called the company after the technician left so someone could explain to me why the labor would be so expensive. I was told someone would call me back. One week and three calls later, no one ever called me back. So I contacted Stanfield Air and asked them to come give me a second opinion. Their service fee was $79 whereas the other company’s was $95. Matt arrived promptly as scheduled and was very polite and professional. After inspecting, he agreed there was a leak and did a leak search that required him to return about 10 days later to check the results. He said the condenser coil did not need cleaning, a savings of $250 right away. Today, he returned to check the results. Yes, the evaporator coil needs to be replaced but the labor will only be $385! Thank you, Stanfield Air for saving me $1305!
