I had used McBroom 2 years prior, when I changed out both my interior and exterior units for my condo apartment. Within 48 hours, my interior unit stopped flowing any air - whether hot or cold. I texted their text line with my problem. They were responsive. Unfortunately, they were backed up with service calls for few days but offered to FaceTime with me to help resolve the issue. It was simple steps that I was able to complete to get my unit working again. I tripped the float switch and needed to clean the ptrap. Excellent service.

HVAC systems are a nerve wracking part of home ownership and you are not always sure who to trust. McBroom Heating and Air takes that burden off. They are quick to respond and very helpful. This company has always been eager to help me out with my comfort needs! I have been very happy with the service they have provided to me over the years!

Contacted Houston first thing in the morning as my AC had gone out in the middle of summer (go figure). He was able to have the house fixed up and some, cooled down by early afternoon! So thankful for this company, each time using them has been hassle free and impressive. They are above and beyond!

We're really happy with McBroom H&A. We had to replace two A/C units and two heating units. Not an easy job. Houston and his team have decades of experience and it shows. He and his crew were able to install everything in less than a day.

This was a months long process for us starting with an onsite visit, all the way to install. Every step of the way, Houston not only proved to be reliable but most importantly, trustworthy. And he took the time to answer questions (we had plenty of them), provide options, & develop a solid install plan.

I will also add that Houston really focuses on what you need and what's important to you. And then develops fair pricing to provide value, what you get for what you pay for. If you focus on price alone, without considering what you get for that money, you're not looking at value.

One quick story, on my old system, the insulation in the plenums (the metal tubing around the main heating & a/c components) was on the inside. Houston showed us the old plenums and they had mold on the fiberglass insulation. So air was circulating over that stuff. And we were breathing in all of that junk. They installed our new system with the insulation on the outside of the plenums. The air now circulates without all of that.

I think if you consider value, highly experienced workmanship, and folks you can trust to do it right, McBroom will be your choice. I know it sounds like I'm in the McBroom Marketing dept. but I think this is a solid crew and you'll be very happy with McBroom and the work that they do.

We had McBroom come out to look at our furnace that was making a scraping sound. The tech provided us with an accurate ETA, showed up on time as promised and quickly found that the blower wheel had become loose on the motor shaft. He removed the entire blower assembly and realigned the blower wheel promptly and efficiently to avoid any additional costs to replace. He explained to me how my zoning system works throughout the house, and also made recommendations on how to improve our indoor air quality. He was even kind enough to switch the direction of the register in my son’s nursery so that heat would not blow directly towards the crib! Overall, it was a fantastic experience and the work done was top notch – all at a very fair price! Highly recommend this company, and will definitely use them again should the need arise!

These guys really helped me out on a Friday afternoon! The condenser fan motor on my main floor unit could be heard from the next zip code over. I called McBroom and they got out with all the parts and had me back up and running in no time! My 15 year old AC is running smoothly once again! Would highly recommend this company to anyone who likes to use family owned and operated services!

We had trouble with our high efficiency furnace and it was very cold in March 2019. Houston came out the same day we called and quickly toubleshooting the problem with a faulty igniter. He ordered and picked up the part and got the unit working again that afternoon for a very reasonable repair cost! We had great expereince with Houston and his company.

Our furnace wasn't working and we called McBroom Heating and Air. They were able to service us the same day, did not have the part but drove miles to get it for us and came back and installed the part to fix our furnace for us so we would have heat... now, that is great service !!!
