Tim is an honest and good guy I had no problem what so ever

Adan Allegue Gomez

This business is the worst, the owners mistreat the customers, he answers me in a bad way when I tell him that he is using my damaged parts in the new air line, he takes the short one and throws it on the ground, what the hell is wrong with him these people ? I do not recommend it.

Hands down one of the best automotive repair experiences I’ve ever had. Tim and his partner were professional, fast in repair, and incredibly fair in pricing. As long as they are in business I will send anyone I know with automotive AC issues their way. Thanks a ton Tim, summer time won’t be so miserable now that my AC is working.

After paying $200 for an outrageous quote to repair the ac in my van from our regular repair shop and getting quotes from two other shops, a friend recommended this place.
Wow, what a change from our “regular” shop. These gentlemen spent hours to figure out because of the issue. Once they found the issue it took awhile to get an appointment because they are in such high demand. They filled my AC with Freon twice to get me through until they could get me in for the repair.
The great news is they repaired my AC for half the price I was quoted from my “regular” shop.
It is such a breath of fresh air for a woman to be treated with respect at a place of service. Due to their awesome customer service and knowledge I am a lifetime customer. They didn’t call me sweetheart though. I may be a little offended! Lol
PS My regular shop is no more my shop!

I only gave one star, because the system won't allow you to give zero.

If you are a female, DO NOT go to this business. After calling a day ahead, I was informed I could bring me vehicle anytime, the next day, after 8 AM. I arrived at 8:03, and let the person who greeted me (with a very sour attitude) know to whom I had spoken and that he had told me to come by, this morning. Let the waiting begin. At 8:23, no one had even spoken to me, stating the "gentleman" I was waiting for would be a few more minutes. I asked the first person, who had greeted me, if the one I was waiting for was coming soon. He stated (in a very caustic manner) that if I did not have time to "hang around" I could just go and come back another day. Do these people think they are the only ones who have jobs? Do they have NO sense of courtesy or concern regarding inconveniencing potential customers. Are they so rich they can afford to run off business, especially "referred" business?

I decided I didn't care to have them work on anything of mine and left. I had driven from Bartow, only because I had been specifically referred to this business. That's over an hour out of my work day, I can't get back, between the drive and waiting time.

Upon reaching my vehicle, I called back to speak to the original referee to let him know that his employee was RUDE. He informed me that I had spoken to the OWNER. I stated that made no difference, the man is rude. Upon that, the man I was speaking to said, "Well, sweetheart, once we have trouble out of a customer, we just won't look at ANYTHING." How MISOGYNISTIC is that? What trouble? One, I wasn't rude, did not use any untoward language and I did not raise my voice in any way. Two, men have NO right to call women, they do not know, by any type of "Term of Endearment", especially in a sarcastic manner. Three, he had no need to tell me they wouldn't look at my vehicle. I wouldn't take it back to that place, if it was the last hole in the wall on earth that could repair my AC. Finally, I suspect they would have overcharged, just because they would feel this little "SWEETHEART" didn't have a clue how to research usual pricing or was smart enough to get another quote.

Women, beware.

I don't write too many reviews but Tom and his staff here deserve one. They are primarily an air conditioning parts supplier to other shops in the area. The way they described it to me, they sell air conditioning related parts for anything that moves, such as cars, trucks, tractors and airplanes - This is not the place for home AC repair. I felt like I was stepping back in time as I approached the counter - a refreshing home-town feel quite in contrast to the typical part stores that dot the landscape today. These guys have clearly been doing this for a long time.

They do have a shop out back where they do some AC repair on vehicles that customers bring in. My Toyota Sienna AC had quit working when I showed up at their place. They took it out back and checked it out. They came up front a few minutes later saying that it was working again but they could not promise for how long. It turns out that the vehicle computer had thrown a number of error codes that had disabled the AC compressor. The AC started working again after the codes were cleared.

Unfortunately, Tom was right and that was not a long term fix. I am scheduled to bring the van in for a likely compressor replacement next week. Their price on a compressor change out was significantly less than the other shop that I had previously visited. That shop and most other shops would have probably not even tried the simpler more cost effective route first as these guys did since there is no profit in that. I truly sensed that Tom had my best interest in mind, something that is so hard to find these days.

There was a poster in their storefront that read, "It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice." I left there believing that that is the guiding principal with which they run their business.
