Powell A/C & Heat LLC

Do not hire this company. Hired Powell A/C Allen Fitzgerald to install two new mini-splits that we purchased elsewhere. On installation day, both units worked fine, so we paid $1,450 for the install, and then tipped Allen $550. Well, a couple of days later the larger unit started leaking on our walls and new floors. Allen came out and did something but basically couldn't figure the problem out. The unit continued to leak. Allen made about ten appointments that some included my husband taking off of work, but did not show up. He eventually ignored our texts and calls. Now we have a 750+ s.f. room that can get up to 100 degrees with a new mini-split on the wall that does not work. Now, it won't even come on because the freon has leaked out. Don't even know if this is a health danger, but Allen is dead wrong for leaving us hanging like this. I will be reporting to the licensing board and anyone else I can think of.

My husband and I called desperate on a Sunday at 9 pm with a sick child praying someone could help us with our brand new AC that had broken down... We must have called 15 companies and Allen was the ONLY person that answered. He was FAST, SO friendly, and got our AC back up and running in no time!! Wish we could give him 10 stars. We would highly recommended this company!

Great company! I am a local Realtor and Powell is definitely my first choice for air conditioning & heat repair. Always responsive, quick to get to job, and do great work. Just last Thursday afternoon walked into a listing that was a blazing 90 degrees inside, called Powell and he was out there and had it back up & running in no time. Total lifesaver!!

Allen does great work for reasonable and fair prices. He will come out any time day or night and is very helpful and professional. I would recommend this company and Allen for any of your cooling or heating needs!
