I drive from Largo to shop for my hardware here. They routinely stomp the competition's prices. Has the best customer service I have ever experienced in a hardware store in my life. Couldn't recommend this place any higher.

Doesn't have products in stock & cannot give me an eta of when the product will be back in stock.. Its not on backorder. like I really want to call u everyday for God knows how long until the products get back to yr shelfs or buy it online & wait 12 to 14 day for it to come in. If it's available online to purchase it should be available on yr shelf to purchase also. Y don't u give me the product & ask me to pay in 12day & see how it feel for me to pay now & wait til later

I ordered an item that would be shipped to the store, and after I paid, I found out that it would take 10 days to be shipped. The next morning I called to get my money back because I could find a different one sooner, and they said they would have to ship it to the store first before it could be returned. I waited ten days, and then they said they had to do a confirmation period of a week or something, and to call back after that. I called back and then they said 10 business days for the 'return period', and now it has been around 7 weeks and I am still waiting, with no money returned for my $469 transaction. This place is a complete run around, and they claim to not have any knowledge of the transaction, if you don't have the original number that they gave you before the fiasco starts. I wouldn't order anything large again from this company, because it has almost been 2 months and they still have my $500, and I didn't even know in the first place that it was even going to take 10 days; and they even said that this was a tentative date, and that it just shows up on a truck sometime, and that the shipping couldn't be cancelled, even though I called the following morning after I made a late night order. Terrible customer service, and this store specifically was very rude, and he screamed 10 BUSINESS DAYS at me twice for some odd reason, and then explained out that means that it starts on the following weekday, even though that is the meaning of 'business days'.

Purchased something to prepare for the hurricane and didn't end up needing it so I was able to return it here with no problem. The lady at the counter was extremely nice and helpful. I will definitely be back

I stopped in today to get something repaired. They told me they were three weeks out on repairs and wouldn’t even look at my equipment because they are no longer taking repairs because they ran out of space. That wasn’t very helpful for me. So if you need something repaired don’t waste your time coming here. I’ll have to go somewhere else.

UPDATE: After I left here I went to another mower shop and had my Stihl trimmer up and running 5 days later. No hassles. The other mower shop was Quality Power on Hillsborough.

I absolutely love Northern Tool. We have two stores in our general area and the staff at both have been top notch. The lady at the Tarpon Springs store really went out of her way to help me when I was looking for a very specific item that I was having a hard time finding. My only complaint is that I can’t control myself in there and I almost always wind up spending too much. They should really put a Northern Tool next to every Target so men have something to do while their wives are in Target for hours. The world would be a happier place.
NT has quality stuff like Dewalt, Milwaukee, Hobart, and even Carhartt It doesn’t sell all junk like some other tool stores you might have heard of.

This is a nice store, it’s clean and stocked full of inventory. They gave a wide arrangement of items to choose from. I give it 4 stars, because, even though they have a large inventory, when it comes to specific items you’re looking for, they don’t have a wide assortment of items in a certain category.
