Vidal came to examine our air conditioning unit and was very courteous, informative, and helpful. Above all he was honest! He informed me that the air conditioning unit was not level and that was the reason the emergency cut off switch was not working. He told me this even though he knew his company was the one that installed the air conditioning unit! The original cause of the condensation water backing up was because we had not used the proper air filter and also had not flushed out the drainage tube regularly (every 6 months). However, if the cut off switch had worked properly, the AC unit should have shut off and we could have known there was a leak. Instead, the AC unit continued to operate and the condensation leak kept accumulating and finally resulted in water damage to our guest room carpet. Only then did we know something was wrong. Anyway, Vidal levelled the AC unit and flushed out the tube and recommended other actions to help prevent future leaks. He was great!

I started new HVAC maintenance and service with Cool Today. Garrett Schmiz arrived within the window stated, he was very professional and courteous. Multiple times he asked if i had any questions or concerns, he informed me how things were going along the way. He provided me information to help me learn more about Cool Today’s service offerings and even showed me a learning video so i can better understand the importance of service and maintenance for my home. Choice didn’t contain A/C service. I had my biannual service and the tech told me the system needed 3 lbs freon and a ks-1 hard starter. He charged me $507.00 for the starter and $507.00 for 3 lbs freon. The Kickstartks1 costs $78.00 in the electric parts store or on line. The average cost of 3 lbs installed in Florida is $320.00. The prices he charged me he said were discounted. I don’t mind a company making a profit, but I do mind getting ripped off while having a service contract with this company? I have still yet to hear from these folks. If anything changes I will amend my rating!

UPDATE: We're still using Cool Today and are still just as happy with the results!

We've been using Cool Today for a little over a year now and we're so glad we found them! Today, one of their techs, Jason, did the maintenance service on our A/C. He was on time, professional, helpful, and did an excellent job maintaining our A/C, which is about 10 years old and still functioning very well, mainly due to Cool Today's competent techs. We highly recommend this company to anyone who wants the best job for an excellent price.

Cool today provided me with a free estimate for services in my attic for replacing duct work.
The technician Jacob Pegg that came out was very knowledgeable courteous.
Because of the situation in my attic with the trunk line they're unable to provide the service I need which rodent proof is also needed.

I had the pleasure of having Joseph Gunn come and service my a/c. He was there I want to say within the hour of me calling in to report my issue. When he got there was very professional and a pleasure to speak with as well all while finding the issue immediately giving me options and explaining to me what’s going to happen. He got the issue solved gave me more preventive solutions and took care of business. This is why I will continue to use this company cause of their work ethic and just overall professionalism.
