Brendan did a fantastic job, very professional and informative. Appreciated him taking the time to explain, and allow us to observe to better understand what was done.
Air Rescue was one of 5 companies I requested an estimate to replace an air condition system that was 30 yrs old. I had quotes from salesmen trying to sell me more than my duct system could handle. I didn't know this until Joe Horstman, Air Rescue, sales rep explained seers and duct work compacity. After a lecture on what seers mean and what could happen with my duct system, I chose Air Rescue. Price was reasonable compared to other estimates also. The company kept me informed of the installation time and after arriving and looking at the project we both decided they should come back the following day because it was an all day project. They had 3 technicians (Nate, Elijah and Caleb)working on the project, very knowledgeable and professional. I tried to stay out of their way. The wall had to be extended up to install the air handler. Excellent job carving out that space. When job was completed, excellent job all around, cleaning up the area that required a lot of attention. They protected my floors on the inside and my lawn and the area around it on the outside when installing the unit. My inside floors were left the way they found them. Great job Air Rescue team!!!!! Thank you, I can't wait to see the improvement in the cooling of my house and electric bill.๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ Shirley J.
I have been employing this AC business for several years. They have always been there when they committed to be, are very professional, well trained and competent, and have never disappointed us. I wholeheartedly recommend these technicians for any AC job that you have, large or small. They are the best.
I am editing my previous review; but in a way - the result is the same: the techs are great: the office; not so much. So - my 2 year old system stopped working - of course; on a weekend. They were able to have a GREAT tech at my house on Sunday. He did a temp repair (ended up having to add 12 lbs of freon; out of 13 possible); so that the house could cool down.. He warned me that it was truly a temp fix; only for a day or two; because there was a leak in the system and a coil had to be replaced. On Monday; their schedulers called me to set up the install of the replacement coil - FOR THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY. Umm, I said to the scheduler that the tech told me that it would only last a day or two. She puts me on hold; then miraculously 'finds' an appointment for Wednesday. Same great tech came out - replaced the coil; my system is working. ( Prior review: I have been a client for years; even have their so-called VIP Protection Plan. Maintenance has been great - except that recently there have been 3 appointments scheduled to drop off supplies and install a UV bulb that were discovered to be needed at the last maintenance appt. All three of those appointments have been no-show; no contact until I call. THEN I get excuses from the ones answering the phone. This is NOT the tech's fault - he's a great tech. This is SOLELY the fault of the office/scheduling people. They KNOW where the tech is/ they KNOW what his schedule is. You would think that if he is running behind; they would call to say "Hey - just a heads up; your tech is delayed - is that ok?" Today was the 3rd scheduled appt...SSDD. Appt window was from 11-3. NOT A WORD FROM THEM. I just called at 3 pm and got a "Oh, he's at the appointment right before yours; you are still on the schedule" as if I have nothing better to do than to wait. Again - this is NOT the tech's fault. And when I asked why they couldn't contact me to let me know it was running late...the excuse was that they are 'short-handed'. Nope, not buying it. Very disappointed in the VIP "service")
My a/c was not cooling so I called for service and specifically ask for a technician with experience. When technician arrived, he checked my system and said it was overcharged but he could not fix it because he doesn't do that kind of work. I said OK can you get me someone who can, He said call the office and charged me $59 for nothing. So, I called the office and requested the proper technician they said someone will be out tomorrow around 9am and 12pm. Nobody showed up or called. I think this is the worst place and would never use again they have no idea what they are doing.
Did we get our discount? I was told on the phone that I was entitled to a 20% discount for the repair. Nothing was annotated on the receipt that was left with my wife. Same repair was done 2 years earlier with discount applied and annotated on the receipt.
Air Rescue not only installed our new heat pump and air exchanger system, but also moved our air changer to a new location. The โmoveโ was not trivial, but everything looks and works great. We love the job the Air Rescue team did for us from the initial planning thru the final execution. Excellent professionals!!
Very satisfied with our new AC system. Grant was awesome to work with. Had a minor problem with the initial install. The team was super-responsive and Israel was able to identify the issue quickly; it was resolved in no time.
I would not use or recommend Air Rescue again, based on my experience with them.
When the ac cut out and our normal hvac company was unable to come in time, we called Air Rescue after seeing their tv commercial. They came promptly and took a look at our system before telling us the condenser was broken and we would need a complete system replacement. They quoted $7500 for an equivalent system. We said we wanted time to get another quote and to discuss such a large and unexpected cost for our 6 year old system.
In the meantime, our normal ac company came to provide a second opinion/quote. He ended up putting in a $45 part and balancing the coolant pressures. Guess what? That fix meant we didnโt have to buy a new system.
So although the air rescue guy was nice and the company did come out over the holiday, they werenโt able to fix our ac and charged us for a service call. They also insisted we need a replacement system, when our regular guy was able to fix the system for $45.
At least get a second opinion if these guys say you need a replacement. It saved us thousands.

I previously Rated Air Rescue lower but my past few experiences with them have been wonderful.
Promptly scheduled call, arrived and issue fixed.
