Good Afternoon, I have been in search for a great plumbing company and I finally called Keith Lawson, Mr. Daniel came out to check the leak in my kitchen. Mr. Daniel replaced the faucets and everything is great. Thanks again and looking forward to working with your company again.

We had an especially challenging gas leak stemming from the exterior of our house. Tim from Keith Lawson Services did an amazing job and put an incredible amount of effort into saving our brick wall. We would highly recommend him.

I really appreciate the attentiveness to the current pandemic; the schedulers asked if there was anyone who was ill in the home, and the plumber wore a mask the entire time. I also appreciate the prompt service and notifying me when the plumber was en route. Thank you for taking care of our plumbing concern so quickly!

Nate is an excellent technician. I hired him to come in an inspect our system after another company had performed questionable, erratic service. Nate detailed multiple problems with that work, shows me the mistakes, then fixed them. The system is cleaner and better functioning than it has been in some time. I signed up for Lawson's "Red Carpet Service."

Have paid this company nearly $20,000 over the years for HVAC units, including regular costly inspections to maintain warranties. Had new upstairs unit installed this week and it did not take 24 hours before was getting dunning phone call demanding immediate payment. I can't recall any local company so poorly behaved, including electricians, plumbers, lawn care people, etc. It is perfectly routine to be billed and then send payment. Very shabby operation.

After purchasing our home in Dec 2009 we had our AC unit break in August 2013. We called Keith Lawson and they told us that we would have to get the entire coil replaced inside because it was leaking freon. So we spent over $2000 doing this. After it was replaced we had a few service calls to check on the unit made as maintenance visits. The technician came and told me he was working on it and then left without giving me any notice. This made me very unhappy because I wanted to be aware of what was going on with the work done for the house. The work he had to do was outside so he didn't need to come inside. I contacted Keith Lawson about this and they didn't do much about it. So I immediately switched to another local company.

The real problem starts the week of Christmas 2015. We moved out of country but still own the home. The heating stopped working the saturday before christmas. We we contacted our new company that was regularly servicing the unit and they told us that we needed to replace the entire inside and outside unit. Although the unit installed inside was new and working, it no longer matched the outside unit causing more refrigerant leaking. EPA regulations changed the type of refrigerant that should be used in 2010 yet our unit installed inside the house still used the old refrigerant not the new kind. There fore when the outside unit was being replaced with a more up to date unit, it did not match the inside "new" unit installed in 2012. For us to put a bandaid on it would cost us an expensive amount per pound of refrigerant and this still would not fix the leak. This really made me upset because had we been told when Keith Lawson came and did the work that if the inside unit was replaced it would not match the outside unit, we could have replaced both then to avoid spending $2000 once and then over $6000 2 years later. They also neglected to tell us that the unit they were installing no longer complied with the new reglations for refrigerant from 2010. Since Keith Lawson replaced our unit in 2013 you would think the most up to date unit that complied with the EPA would have been installed. I called Keith Lawson after the work was done again and my response from Mike was that "we could have done it then." The problem is we were never presented with the idea because we were never told that the units did not match by a significant factor to forsee a problem like this in the future. We were never told about the EPA laws. I learned about all of this $6000 later. Had Keith Lawson installed a more current unit I would have had to pay another $2000-$3000 for the outside unit. Instead on a house that I've owned for 3 years now I've spent over $8000 on a new HVAC unit.

The service I have had with the new company I am with has been very expectional while Keith Lawson had barely a few words to say about what happened. Not even Sorry. They only kept trying to divert the blame. All I wanted to know was why they didn't tell us all this when we first hired them in 2012. Instead they kept saying they could have done it but they didn't suggest it because it would have cost more.

My advice is do your research because they don't tell you the full story.

In response to the comment to the owner.

You still did not address the poor service of your technicians leaving without communicating the issues with us which initially drove us to go with another company.

Like you said it the handler did not need replacement but had your technician taken the time or whatever needed to be done to tell us that if things went south in the future the unit that is being installed would have needed to be changed I would have at least been able to entertain the idea. I know cost sometimes drive customers away but being educated on product and services when customers are paying the amount they are is crucial.

Asked how much to put in a dishwasher. Told us the hourly rate was $89 over the phone but when tech got here, he said hourly rate was $200 and he'd charge $400 to put in dishwasher. Way more than phone estimate. Don't trust them. The "Google Users" below who rated Lawson with 5 stars must work for the Lawson company.

The guys who answer the phone are rude and cut you off, they dont put in your order correctly, I have been waiting since June for them to come screw a simple piece back on and am waiting again today only to get a call that they not coming until tomorrow. They charged me for the service call and tried to screw me over with an outrageous bill for an AC repair. So I went to my repair man who charged me 250 for what they were trying to charge me 900 dollars for. Make sure you review the AC unit you get from them. They intentionally will install an ac unit that is known to have alot of issues so they can come back and charge you for repairs... Buyer Beware!!! Update, a guy came out this morning with an attitude and tried to charge me 160 to put a clip back on an ac wire. These guys are scammers,I paid them 80 dollars the 1st time and they forgot to do it and now trying to charge me again... I can guarantee that whatever price they quote you it is a scam and you can find someone less expensive to do the same work. Update spoke to a manager named Matt who did not honor them coming back out for free but rather told me they would apply my 80bdollar credit, I took off work again only to have Matt call me when Daniel was on the way to say they were charging me the full amount... buyer beware these people are running a scam operation to make money off of consumers.

Bruce Rowan was a superb technician. Had to clear from around unit to work on it, did so without a bit of complaint. Very personable and a pleasure to have him do our maintenance service.
