Suspicious business practices. Our AC blower was acting inconsistently and malfunctioning. They came out and did an inspection which consisted of unplugging the system and plugging it back in per the technician's report. The inspection took less than 15 minutes and they charged $150. The technician did not even look or go near the outside fan of the unit despite being told where it was. We were told that we needed a new blower engine totaling just under $3,000. Given the high amount, the technician told us we could call the office to talk about financing options (as advertised on their website). Upon calling the office, the owners immediately told us that there were no financing options available. Despite this, we were willing to move forward and pay for the service upon completion. When the technician arrived, he stated that he would need payment before he began installing the new system. When questioned about this, he stated that we were being charged this way because we were "wishy washy" on the phone with the owners. I asked the technician to leave and that we would not be paying for a service before it had been completed and tested. The behavior of this company and the owners is suspicious and unacceptable and I would strongly recommend for everyone to stay away.

I highly recommend Air Control Heating & Cooling for all of you heating and cooling needs. We had a new unit installed (inside unit, outside unit and all new duct work) we went with the 3.5 ton 16 seer Carrier system. They provided excellent customer service and were very professional from the start. I requested a quote online and got a call back in the matter of minutes to schedule. Curt come out on a Saturday to provide a quote, no other company that we contacted would come out on a weekend or after 5pm. We did get 3 quotes from different companies, no one come in with a lower quote than Air Control, but that's not the only reason we we chose Air Control. Not only did Curt come out on a Saturday, he also took about 45 minutes to walk around our home with us, took pictures but he also explained to us what things they would upgrade or replace and what systems were more energy efficient. Curt also told us if we needed them for anything before the install day let him know. We scheduled the install the day after Memorial day (June 1st and 2nd), but the Thursday before, we come home at 5:45 pm and had no AC! I shot Curt a text which he replied to immediately and the next morning we had AC again. When install day came around 3 trucks, 1 with a trailer and 6 men arrived on time ready to get started. Austin and his crew were friendly and professional. They got it all knocked out in the 2 days scheduled. Day 1, they got the new inside, outside units, new cutoff switches, new drain lines all installed and working so we had AC that evening. The next morning, Day 2, Austin and his crew arrived on time. They tore out all the old ducting and installed all new ducting in out attic on a hot June day. They all remained professional, courteous and friendly even with it being so hot. After finishing they hauled everything away, Austin even used a shop vac in our garage and on our driveway, making sure to leave nothing behind. We will be using Air Control for all of our HVAC needs in the future! Thanks Curt, Austin and all of the wonderful employees at Air Control Heating & Cooling! Called for emergency service on Monday morning. An answering service told me a tech would contact me within 20 minutes if not call back. After the third call a tech called and told me the office would contact me in the morning. No apology for not responding for the last 3 hours. The office did call and told me they would send someone that afternoon. We I questioned about the non response to my calls I’m new I don’t know anything about that. I have done business with them for years but I’m taking my business elsewhere.

AC went out, wife was threatening to murder me, these guys came through big time and saved my life.

Air Control installed my new Carrier system in June 2020 and I could not be more happy with their service and my unit. They were very professional and prompt. My system was installed in one day and that included cleaning all of my air ducts and vents. I love my new Ecobee voice controlled thermostat too. The system they replaced was one they had installed for me back in 1997, so I am familiar with their service. I would not use anyone else. I also appreciate the fact that all of the service technicians that came inside my house wore masks. Thank you.

I called a few different heating/air companies to get an estimate to replace the system in my home. I wasn't having much luck getting anyone to keep the appointment they set with me. I even had one of the "larger" companies say they could give me an accurate estimate without coming inside. I called Air Control and not only did they keep their appointment the owner came out climbed in my attic and thoroughly went over the products and process. Luckily I didn't go with that "larger" company because I had faulty duct work and they wouldn't have known that by never coming inside. Tim made me feel comfortable with my decision and he was very professional in delivering the details of the process to me. Andrew and the crew they sent out were nothing short of fantastic! I was impressed on how thorough and efficient they were. They treated my home as if it were their own. I would recommend Air Control to anyone and everyone in need of a trustworthy hard working heating & air company. Great job everyone!

Can't say enough great words and accolade's about this company. I am an investor and have units in the Tallahassee area and they do an amazing job of taking care of things quickly and thoroughly. Very patient, kind, thorough and fair. Special thanks to Jeremy who helped solve a big mystery on one of my units that was giving us a headache. All the technicians are great. FANTASTIC! Look no further, Air Control Heating & Cooling was the best choice I could have ever made. My 12 year unit had bit the dust & I had no idea where to begin, so I searched AC companies on Google. Air Control Heating & Cooling was the top rated. I did price around & spoke to several companies. Tim at Air Control by far had the best price but most importantly the unit that was installed was fantastic! Not to mention the outstanding customer service. The day of installation went smoothly, Joseph and his team worked extremely hard and ensured the unit was working properly. They even stuck around hours later to ensure the unit was working properly and hauled the old unit away. I was also pleased to see the Manager, Tim, show up at my house to talk to me about the unit and also checked the new unit out. It has been over a month and it amazing how cool we are! So much different than my last unit. I would honestly, without a doubt go with Air Control Heating & Cooling!

Air Control was here for a service call on my new A/C and they did a great job. Jeremy Smith the technician is very knowledgeable and one of the best service techs i have dealt with. You should be proud to have such a great person representing your company. the service was quick and very professional, that is why i will always recommend Air Control to my friends and family.
