My ac stopped blowing in my house despite my outside unit running. Called first thing the next morning when they opened. Got scheduled for a tech vist the same afternoon. Was informed I would be contacted 30-45 minutes before the tech arrived. Received call as expected and the tech arrived within that timeframe. My techs were Rock and Roman (I think Roman was learning/training) Rock was very personable as he opened my hvac unit promptly noting the coils were frozen with ice. He and Roman worked well together to get the ice melted quickly, yet safely not causing any further to my system. Rock and I were discussing maintenance and I vented my frustration that Del Air had switched to offering only one service with their maintenance plans. I don't know about you, but I've always heard two is best for optimal operation of your system. Rock then informed me that Del Air heard the complaints from their own technicians and from their customers and brought back the two maintenance visits per year with the contract. I asked Rock if I could please sign up today. He immediately got the paperwork out so I can get that program started this fall. No pressure, and he was quite happy to make this happen. Finally got the I've melted and fortunately had no leaks or damage, but he did note that I had a drain line clog. He got that taken care of as well. He answered aaaaaaallll of my questions with patience and with explanations that could easily understand while also giving some tips for keeping my system running efficiently. Rock and Roman got my system running great and I had a great night's sleep in my nice, cool house. My personal, non HVAC trained specialty opinion, this could have been avoided if my system had maintenance at the 6 month point (April) from my last service appointment (October). So thanks for bringing that plan back Del Air! Many thanks to Rock for his patience and expertise. I hope Roman learns a lot from Rock because he looked to being a great job going over the steps and procedures with him.

I want to applaud Mohammed who did an excellent job of finding the source of a problem and worked on it until it was solved. He deserves a raise! The other Del Air service man who had come a few days earlier just put a “band-aid” on the problem without assessing what the issue was. Your company needs to hire more employees like Mohammed. I will ask for him by name in the future.

The service was fine, although I'm not a fan of a sales rep tagging along. I waited at home for 7 hours for a 9-12 appointment. Trust me when I say that won't happen again.

Noah came out to my house and right away determined what was the issue with my air handler motor. He explained the issue well and was very cordial and professional. Will ask for him directly for future service calls.

Service technician today, and in general, I was very professional and courteous.
The only thing I would say to a homeowner or owner of investment property, is to keep track of your service because I have had many missed, but it was always given back to me at a later date.

UPDATE: As requested by Del-Air on my original post, I reached out to Del-Air and spoke to a representative. No effort to address my concern was made. Basically, "it is what it is" was their feedback. A friend of ours had the same service completed on their A/C unit and their total cost was $537 for parts and labor. My warranty work was $689 for labor! Rest assured, my days with Del-Air are numbered, once my service agreement expires.
I have been a Del Air customer for nearly 20 years and trusted I was getting the best value by purchasing their annual service agreements. I was charged $689 for labor, to replace an hvac fan motor, which was under warranty. To my surprise, the job took only 20 minutes to complete the repair. This price included a "discount" for having a the service agreement. The customer support was poor and we waited one month for the replacement part to come in.
