We’ve used Del Air for our annual AC service contract for 7 years. Several weeks ago we needed emergency service on a weekend when our AC stopped working. Their site states they offer 24/7 service. We called early Saturday morning and I also messaged them using the chat option. To date (more than 2 weeks later) we’ve never gotten a call back or a reply of any kind.
Thankfully I read on nextdoor that another neighbor had the same issue with no response, so we ended up calling another company who responded and repaired our issue very promptly that same morning. We will not be renewing our service contract with Del Air.

The service tech came out Sunday, refused to do the routine maintenance and told us our motherboards needed to be replaced.

Fast forward 6 days without air, having to purchase a portable AC unit, and we call to get an ETA on when the parts will be here. They’re response is that Trane system is down so they can’t order part needed.

I called Trane, they had no system outages except for 1 hour that day. I called Del Air back to be like what the heck is going on, was told I had to speak with supervisor. They of course did not answer.

I called back to get part # and the customer service rep was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to, they refused to give me part information.

I called another company to fix the issue, they were able to fix AC within 2 hours of calling - no mother boards required. Just some good ole EFFORT AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. Del Air was red $1500 for parts and labor and all they had to do was vacuum out the drain line.

They were sweating us out, waiting for us to purchase a new unit. I was told “vacuum out the line before I come back,” and that “purchasing any parts for an AC out of warranty was a risk,” and that the “unit still may not work with new parts”

Your right. It wouldn’t have worked with the new parts, BECAUSE THAT WASNT THE ISSUE.

Just had my HVAC system worked on by Nate and Sergio, and let me tell you - their level of professionalism, knowledge, and capability was absolutely outsdanding. These two gentlemen set a high benchmark to which other HVAC technicains should aspire.

I had a new unit installed with a 10 year labor/parts warranty. I was told by the Del-Air sales representative there was a rebate from Duke Energy. Del-Air submitted the rebate, I never received the rebate and I contacted Del-Air. Del-Air reached out to Duke energy and they don't give rebates to multifamily homes, meaning that condos and townhouses are excluded. You would think that a seasoned sales person who touted all their years of experience, would know that and not miss lead the customer.

Service man was excellent. Did a great job and informed me of what he had done. However, you support people that schedule service are horrible. I had schedule two previous maintenance appointments but no one showed up for either and no phone call about not showing up.

I was very pleased with the professional workmanship given by Afzal in the A/C maintenance process. He was very honest and explained very well the various steps he was taking in the maintenance process. Afzal's approach involved no pressure for me to purchase anything that wasn't in my best interest.

After initial hiccups from Del Air, the follow up service person Nate and others did a fine job, kept me constantly updated over calls on the progress and fixed the issue permanently.

Extremely poor warranty.. A part under warranty needs $800 to be repaired.Thats labor cost.., you are left wondering whats the warranty for then

Not sure what this guy did he was here for about 20minutes I only seen him pour 2 gallons of water down a pipe I didn’t see him with any tools he didn’t test anything I have seen better because i get maintenance twice a year for the last four years he did communicate about some growth but told me there was nothing he can do about it.6/26/2023

Fantastic service. I have had an ongoing issue for over a year and no other company could figure it out. Manny from Del-Air was able to determine what the problem was and provide a fix.

I was lucky enough to have JP from Del-Air service my HVAC unit a couple of times over the past 3 years and he always goes above and beyond. Always professional, hard working and kind.
