The service tech was great. He showed us the problem with in 10 min of looking over our ac unit. We've had 3 other people come look at it and not find the problem. I highly recommend Air-Rics Air Conditioning.
Need AC Repair, this is who you should call. We woke up this morning without AC, we have construction going on in our home and as I'm sure you can imagine, it's HOT, not to mention I work from home and have a 4 year old in the house. I called him around 8am, and by 10am, he was here to help. Thank you Air-Ric's!!!!
Eric went out of his way to assist and fix my AC. He even mowed the lawn around it for me as I’m struggling to do that being a single mother of 3. Thank you so much for outstanding service! I highly recommend!
I attempted to "use" this business by buying an AC Capacitor.. The man seemed nice on the phone and said " we dont whole sale", well Im more than willing to pay "retail" giving that the average cost of such item is any where from $7.00 to $25.00..
I also let him know that I'm not in the business of wanting to pay "whole sale" prices (sure who doesn't want a deal, my intentions were to pay what ever the price assuming it was inline with retail plus extra cause I needed it), he then explained that for $179.00 he would sell it and install it..
Well I don't need it installed (I was going to do it) and I thanked him for the offer of wanting to install it for $179.00 and I'm aware it takes less than 5 mins to do the job but c'mon really?
Thus I ordered 1 off of Amazon, the "GE" legit variation and paid $15.00, and it'll be here tomorrow. (I have no clue what he would've sold me and hope that I get 60,000 hours out it or if it was a sub par product)
Thus to those who read this, I'm not bashing the man or company but rather really think about what your spending your $$$ on (AC related or not)..
Its always best to shop around.. Spending an extra 10-15 mins looking/window shopping can yield one/yourself much better results and no headaches/issues. Its always best to gather as much info, data and do business with those who "put their pants on the same way as others" as opposed to being slick and padding their wallet.
Some folks are greedy by nature, I would've gladly paid him/them $100.00 for the part (3 times the average price), but I don't need nor desire his/their labor. I'm sure their labor is good, but I've installed them before (rainstorms usually kill a capacitor along with running hard/all the time during heat waves or they leak so to speak)
Keep in mind about those who offer "lifetime" whatever.. They (the business) has to actually stay in business to make good on that "lifetime" commitment, if they sold the business to another outfit, that outfit doesn't have to honor any former agreement, thus something to keep in the back of your mind too when dealing with companies offering such claim.
Let it be known that there is over 100's of AC repair companies in the Tampa bay area, I get phone books aren't around anymore and some supply places ONLY sell to "AC companies" but times have changed and now you can buy most parts online and get them the same day or the next day and save ALOT.. However my offer of 3 times the parts price wasn't good enough unless I got their labor too..
Air-Rics inspected my home and AC system in preparation for a 700 sqft addition. He designed a plan to attach onto my existing AC system to accommodate the addition. Due to him having to work around other contractors, some of the work we agreed upon needed to be finished at a later date and time. When the time came for him to complete and finish the job, he responded in a reasonable amount of time and completed it. Some adjustments had to be made when the work began and he was understanding and accommodated. All the work was completed under license, insurance, and permits in a professional and punctual manner. All was completed as agreed upon and the system operates efficiently and productively.
My ac went out and I called air rics air conditioning and within the next hour. He arrived and diagnosed the problem and provide me with solutions. Fixed and also cleaned the system and explained to me the future problems. Eric is the best around.
Quick diagnosis, friendly service & very knowledgeable. Our air stopped working today called Air-Ric’s AC and he was out in no time to get us up and running. Thanks Eric, you are the best!
Highly recommended for all A/C and Heating needs. Very honest and up front. He shares lots of knowledge with the customer to give you a pretty good idea of what work he’s performing and any recommendations that is needed. Will definitely use again in the future.
