Took 16 days to replace compressor fan motor on our 13 year old Rheem A/C. Wrong motor arrived on day 8, so another 7 day delay waiting for correct motor. Capacitor was installed wrapped in its cardboard shipping box. Came out few hours after repair to loud noise- fan blade beating electrical plug hanging down from motor. Tech's permanent solution was to zip-tie it to the grill.
