We purchased an AC from them last March(2019), and to this day it stands incomplete with a tarp around it. I was told to pay when install was done last year, so i did. They told us the roofer would be there in 2 weeks to finish, again, that was 50 weeks ago. Today they sent out a team to re tarp it because still... No roofer. The office manager was useless and told my fiancee that it was finished today... Lies after lies. The final inspection was supposed to be by Sept 17, 2019 but it didnt get done and its created a.mess. Never use this company. Not worth their weight.

She is unable to arrange appointments or return phone calls. Currently they have missed 3 inspections with the city and have inconvenienced me consistently. Do not use this company. They will not do what they say, they spilled sealant all over my brick house, plants, sidewalk and lawn. Did not clean it up. I've asked more than 8 times for them to complete the job and they haven't. Formal complaints filed with the city of Palm Bay, dbpr and better business bureau Warning!!!! Do not use this company!!! I read other reviews and agree completely that the workers appear to be on drugs.not one good thing to say regarding my experience with this company. An a.c. system is like a car, it must be tuned up regularly to stay operating. Service calls for normal business hours are the cheapest around. $19 to come out and diagnose this issue. They offer afterhours and weekends calls as well at a higher rate but still significantly less than competition. They offer free estimates and the installation prices are unbeatable. While being able to perform such affordable prices, they have limited staff as only been in business official business since 2009 and started with 1 person. You could choose a bigger name company and pay high service calls for them to just diagnose your system, which they started with a huge money fund behind them. Pbah does offer 1 hr emergency services and is open 24/7 365 days a year! For new installation. They do free warranty services calls Monday thru Friday 8am till 4pm. And during summer the schedule fills up fast. Pbah does get blamed for manufacturing defects but they can not control a breaking part that is a flaw from from the manufacturer and does not control the times for the warranty replacement parts arrival. As any consumer should do is read the contract before signing. The contract is a binding agreement. They will give you a price for repair. This does not mean you have to agree to it. Just pay for the service call and get a second opinion if you are not happy with the price given. All the information you need is on the invoice. As any consumer must know that once a technician leaves the home and the work is complete, this means that service call is closed. Some circumstances will be warranted to come back out at no additional charge. After any diagnosis, they also offer a retail center if u want to buy the part yourself but that part you buy, it has no warranty and is the sale is final for that part. The office staff processes the information given by the techs and installers but are not technicians. The office staff is normal people with limited knowledge of systems and are there to help you get scheduled. After being scheduled dispatching is seperate. As it stands today Everything is done old fashion by paper trails that will be changing soon to a digital format to help customers and staff. So yes there are negative reviews, you have to ask yourself. Out of the 800 installs per year that pbah installs how many are negative or positive. Out of the daily 70 service calls is positive or negative. To realize that if pbah was given a great review each time we went out to serve someone we would be highly approved and recommended. Be your own opinion and choose us. Don't forget everyone is human and all lives matter.
We moved to our house almost three years ago. It has been our great fortune that Palm Bay Air and Heat has serviced our system since that time. Last week our old system reached the end of its usefulness and required replacement. Three technicians arrived Monday morning and completely replace our old system. A separate technician came out when the job was complete to perform a quality assessment of the installation. The installation technician walked me through everything he was doing before, during and after the job. He explained the thermostat and how to set and use the system. All documentation was given to me on the new system and the thermostat from the technician. Every question I had was answered in a respectful manner by the technicians. I have and will continue to recommend Palm Bay Air and Heat to all my friends and neighbors.
Spoke with Lisa this morning who was polite and cared about our situation. She apologized sincerely which is nice because it’s not on them why we had to wait. But her kindness and genuine concern is exactly what you’d want out of the place that’s fixing your AC. THANK YOU LISA!
Prompt response to request for proposal. Had the best price for the heat pump installation. Showed up on time for install. Completed install quickly in spite of rain showers. Replaced the local electrical disconnect when it fell apart upon opening. Also installed wifi thermostat. Made one setting selection on the thermostat that caused the heat pump to heat instead of cool. Responded to my call for service to correct the situation and a tech showed up in a couple of hours and did trouble shooting on the thermostat install and figured out the setting error. Got that corrected and works great now. They sent a tech out for the inspection and he was here most of the day waiting for the inspector who never showed up. The tech did call the office and they said the Brevard County planning office web site showed the inspection was complete and passed. So, except the for the one error in setting the thermostat, which I'm not sure how the original tech would know which setting to use, all went without a hitch.

I ordered filters 6 months ago and still have not received them and EVERYTIME I call I get the run around there’s NEVER a supervisor to speak to the employees jus get your phone number and NEVER call back. I will NEVER do business with Palm Bay air & heat again! if I could leave 0 stars I would. 👎🏻👎🏻
Upon arriving home last Friday we found the AC gone. We called PB Air and Heat who had somebody out later that day. They gave a correct diagnosis of the problem. I needed a new AC unit. I was given an estimate and was told it could be installed Tuesday. This gave us time to get other estimates. We found a better system at the same price from another company. It was installed Monday. We go to PB air and heat office to pay for the service call. We pay our bill and tell them we got a better deal with someone else and the new unit was being installed. I found it odd that a Brevard County code enforcement officer was at our front door by 11:00 am the next day demanding to see our AC permit.
Wow Everything has been going fine until they realized they don’t know how to service mini split systems and have now screwed up. Manager was supposed to call me back...been 4 days and no manager. I called back on Friday to check the status when the little more than unpleasant Bob answered my phone call. When I requested to speak to a manager he stated he had to take a message, which is fine and I expected that. He then continued to ask me question after question of every little detail of my complaint in which I found unnecessary just to have a manager call me back. I said if you give them the message they will call back. At that point he just hung up the phone on me. Absolutely unprofessional and rude. I called the company back to get his name and he continued to get into an argument with me and stated he was NOT leaving a message for the manager and put me on hold. He would not even let me speak. I overheard him being rude to an employee in the background as well when they were asking for documents he barked back ,FOR WHAT!?”I have been holding for over 20 minutes now and they are screening my calls and continue to place me on hold repeatedly. Absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL. Thousands of dollars spent will now have to be straightened out and recovered in court because they have office assistants screening phone calls and refusing to take messages. Ridiculous! Update 9/15 called back to get another status update as I still hadn’t heard from manager. Lady answers tells me it’s end over invoice via email so I did and called back. Manager answers and basically says she will get back to me on Monday. So now we are sitting without any AC...AGAIN for 3 maybe 4-5 days until they even come out...that is if she even calls back on Monday. I am not holding my breath. Update 10/3: SURPRISE SURPRISE! Manager NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I have also found they are being sued by another one of their “customers” and I am surprised there are not more suits against them. I had to call another company out to release the Freon in my split pack system and recharge the entire thing since they OVERCHARGED the split pack. They know NOTHING about split packs. Also, BEWARE that their technicians ARE under the influence of DRUGS and ALCOHOL.
